Finally
You are talking in semantics. When you aggravate an injury, you are slowing down healing. Now...it's possible that Samuel has a torn rotator cuff and he's going to need surgery after the season anyway. And that would be too bad. But if that's the case, I think we need to play these other guys and make sure they are battle tested for the playoffs because there is a high likelihood that Asante wouldn't be able to go.More speculation. Peyton
More speculation. What can I say, I like starting rumors.
TheFatboi
Well if they caught theirs and Peters counted. That's like 8 interceptions. I would of literally died and gone to heaven. I nearly did with the 5 we got , the win , and the stopping of the record.Man, you know what? I was there and I was so happy about the 5 picks that I didn't even realize that we ended his streak until I was in the car leaving and it dawned upon me and I got even happier. That was a great feeling. 1st time in his career 5 picks, streak ends, won the game and maybe ended their season all at the behest of the Falcons. Lovely. Peyton
By the way, the part about Asante re-injuring himself is not speculation. I can point to probably 50 links that report it that way, and I think something becomes officially fact at 25 links. And just 10 if one of them is Associated Press. The day after Ryan had had his 5 pick game we had quite a few Saint trolls over here raising heII. I think that this game pretty much shut them up for good. At this point they can only hope for playoff failure. Gonna look funny to them to see us in the playoffs without them lol. Love it.
Tuggle'2
Yea. At this point they can only hope for playoff failure. Gonna look funny to them to see us in the playoffs without them lol. Love it.Im a Denver fan big time this week. Need to clinch asap so we can start getting people healthy and working out the rooks and backups. I was not liking this TNF game at first because of all our injuries and only having 3 days between 2 tough division games. Its easy to say after the fact ( especially since we won both ) that it actually worked out well. We get the mini bye at a good time towards the end of the year. Tampa loses we win the division. Still need to win at least 2 more games to clinch the #1 seed tho. Unless SF loses to the rams which could happen. MattM12
sorry peyton, i've had a lot of shoulder injuries and know the subject well.if it's loose, and there is ligament damage, it just takes a certain jar to sublux. (see him hold his arm straight down... sublux) He could get through the year fine with luck, or get injured every freaking week if he was unlucky.100% he gets surgery, either key hole or more serious to sort it at the end of the year. If he got it now, season over. You can ice, rehab, use stretch bands etc to strengthen it, but when the damage is done, it's done.So sorry to be a killjoy, but you are flat out wrong here. (see him hold his arm straight down... sublux)Well I wasn't going to say it because Peyton has a tendency to take a little news and go nuts with it but I was pretty sure it was ligament related because of how he held his arm. It also explains why something pretty minor could have happened earlier in the season like a little stretch, it healed pretty much but left him more susceptible to re-injury. It fits perfectly. Aftermath
With the way this team handles injuries no way in heII they would let him test it if they thought it could result in more damage or a more significant injury, that just isn't they way Smith operates. FalconFanForLife
Well I really, really try hard not to try second guessing the players or the coaching staff, but I wasn't happy to see Asante out there again either.Let the man heal before playoffs. McClain and Owens are playing their butts off: let them carry the load.

I can't imagine that ending well for Asante, or the Falcons.
