Miller2Rison
as good as we have been at home in the mike smith era, we are yet to go undefeated at home in a season, we have came close but have ended up 7-1 or 6-2 the last time we went undefeated at home was in 98 and we all know how well we did in the playoffs that year. ltstorm2
Considering we lost in the Superbowl, i'm not to sure if I like this or not.
russ7000
I think we got a good chance to go to the superbowl
Miller2Rison
going undefeated at home and getting hfa is a pretty good omen lol
SavvyFalcon89
IF we start to consistently click on offense and with the way our defense is playing of late, a Superbowl is not all that farfetched. But that will be settled in January.
k-train
Two more wins would be enough for that #1 seed in the NFC. We would be 13-3. If the 49ers or Bears win out, they would only have 12 wins each.
MilleniumFalcon
Will be tough to beat the Giants... but the Bucs game at home we might have the #1 seed wrapped up by then while the Bucs could be fighting for the last wild card spot. since68andcounting
If we can just run the ball and stop the run like we did yesterday, we can WIN the Super Bowl. Not just get there. But we absolutely can't have any of the "COMA" offense like we had in the 2nd and 3rd quarters last night.
gsu01
would you bench the players for last 2 games... if we get first round bye?
I love Julio
Two more wins would be enough for that #1 seed in the NFC. We would be 13-3. If the 49ers or Bears win out, they would only have 12 wins each.I believe your math is a little off. They both have 5 games remaining, including this Sunday's games, so if they win out, the 49er's would be 13-2-1, and the Bears would be 13-3. Therefore we need 3 wins to clinch the #1 seed as of this moment. Hopefully they will both lose at least 1 game. k-train
would you bench the players for last 2 games... if we get first round bye?If we win the next 2 games, and thus had HFA locked down with 2 games left, yes... to a degree. I would treat those last two games like preseason games. I'd play the starters for about a quarter per game max. You want them healed, rested, etc., but you don't want to lose momentum. With the #1 seed, we'd have a first round bye in the playoffs anyway, so you don't want your starters to go 3 weeks without really playing & then having to face a hot team.
