fuego
Almost all picked the Bucs to beat us last week and it's just the opposite this week against the Saints even though they beat us a couple of weeks ago. ESPN 'experts', 11 out of 12 picked us. Only Golic picked the Saints. On NFL AM all three picked us. CBS Sports 8 out of 9 picked us. That's all I checked. Think the Tampa win convinced them? Or was it the Saints' loss to 9ers? Edited November 29, 2012 by fuego
BOOTSY
It's a combination of the loss to 49ers and the law of averages.
JayOzOne
Don't take this the wrong way, Homeboy. But it doesn't matter. The "experts" don't play the games.

A Pimp Named Slickback™
Home teams usually do well at home in Thursday night games. Not to mention the 49ers beat the daylights outta the Saints physically, and the short week.

Or was it the Saints' loss to 9ers?You are asking a question that can't be answered. Their reasons for picking whatever they pick is random and often arbitrary.I can only say why I would pick the Falcons if I was being objective. Our last game was close, we are playing at home on a short week which is an even bigger advantage for the home team, and we win close games more often that not. Ghost of Truth
Unfortunately Golic is the guy I'd listen to the most, he's been right on almost all of our games this year. I hate when he picks against us, unfortunately I feel as if he's right. This Saints team is dangerous, but not only are they dangerous, they're a wild animal backed into a corner, their playoffs start tonight. the_sheff
Probably has more to do with away teams having a horrible record in these Thursday night games.
