mattyicefalcon
how did our front miss that blind side? whose fault was that? should Matty Ice have called a time out since it was an all-out blitz & there was clear mismatch on front line? Those kind of lethal hits are not good for our QB ...I sincerely hope they find a way to put Mike Cox more to give him extra last sec cushion like he got on that 80 yard TD. He's got to see that the Bucs have a guy lined up to come unblocked on the blitz. He's got to adjust the play to get to a hot route or change the blocking assignments to account for the unblocked blitzer. He didn't do either and he and the Falcons paid the price. It was the same as type setup as the DeMarcus Ware play and Ryan took the blame for that one by saying he called for the wrong blocking adjustments. xFalconLord
Well.. we cant run the ball so we had to go shotgun to try to get 1 yard. Sad isnt it.
Absolute
Yeah it was on Matt but if we had gotten 1 yard the prior play we wouldn't have had that issue. LOL

Sometimes I feel he gets transfixed on certain passing lane a lot.... he trusts himself way too much. Lee Long©
Like the others said, it is Matt's fault. That wasn't his blind side. He just never looked over there.Your blind side is the side you don't favor. i.e. right handed = left side is your blind side.
falconfreak1
Just imagine how good we would be if we had an above average o-line. As far as i can tell that is all we lack from us being a elite team instead of just awesome.
jeffro2000
Matt should had seen the guy, and it wasn't his blind side. I don't think he had anywhere to go with the ball, as they were jamming our WRs. Still all on Matt, to find a hot receiver, slide the protection, just see the guy and go down etc.
CherryGhost
It was NOT on Matt. You never call a slow developing, 5 step drop pass play on 3rd and 1 with the game on the line (especially when the D knows we can't/won't run for it). What a joke. It WAS Matty's fault, but that was a well disguised blitz.
falcons007
Last time Demarcus ware took a free hit on Ryan, it put the final nail in the FB Polite's coffin. It would interesting to see what the coaching staff does with this one.

Falconblade22
matt still doesn't know how to scan the entire field like most other quarter backs in the league if he learned to be able to see his blind spots and learn how to be a even more evasive quarterback he would be deadly like .. whoooa

twright21
The corner walked up late and Matt never saw it pre-snap. If I remember correctly, mthe guard and center doubled the dt and Clabo took the de. Matt never saw vickers come up and the trips left had his attention there. They played press coverage and the blitzed timed it well. Credit their scheme and timing there. That sack was on Ryan, before the ball was snapped.mifmhe notices it pre-snap he slides the line that way and all is well.

That play could have cost us the game. Luckily our D stepped up
