All I Could Do At The End Of This Game Is Laugh

Can't name many QBs playing today who can come back from that.

Brady played badly against the same defense IN Foxborough, and they lost the game. They didn't even make as nearly much mistakes as we did either.

Reminded me of Denny Green's "The Bears are who we thought they were." I was surprised to see Whisenhut not lose his cool. We got our butts kicked, but we won so I'm still happy.

Nah.

If you lose the turnover battle by 5 and still win the game, it means you are the much superior football team.

The Falcons didn't get their butts kicked. The Falcons tried hard to lose, but the Cardinals just suck so bad that they wouldn't take it.

Positives

Ryans' ability to realise that he has another chance every time he fouls up.

The Defense absolutely blew up as well as theirs did. Early poor play granted but from then on in lights out.

Harry Douglas is showing form more and more each week - we can rest Julio IMO

We WIN We Win We Win and have a chance to every week. Top value for money ratings as decided by ME (Stats fans take note)

Robert McLain was fantastic again and Dent is getting better week by week - lesson is play your reserves more often they can't learn anymore by sitting on the sidelines taking mental reps

Matty Ice Bryant and the Kicking team do a bloody good job every week.

If you can't summise all the above and the WIN and laugh like you've stolen the Crown Jewels then your life is quite poor IMO

We Burst their O line on the goalline and we scored - just like old times, there's progress

I am really impressed with Snelling and Quizz excellent hands and tenacity when doing their jobs. Poison runs deep in our offense.

and finally odd fact..............

Last guy to throw 5 picks in a game 1967 and ended up MVP for the season

All joking aside, I have to say, I was really impressed with how Matt led the TD drive after his 5th interception, which in my opinion, was by far the worst of the bunch.

After that 5th INT I started to say to myself "It's just not Matt's day, this can't end well for him". But he was money on that next drive.

Only time all day, but it was enough.

Peyton, not to discredit your point about Matt hanging in there, but I believe our touchdown drive was BEFORE the fifth interception. Then our defense held on 4th and 2 after the 5th, and the offense ran to run out the clock.

Maybe. I was drinking pretty heavily at the time.

just goes to show you how bad Arizona is and how bad there QB play is ..

It's not like we played great defense vs a good offensive team

We got ran on like usual now and the Cards just had two inept QBs that shouldn't be on NFL rosters

I mean Cards had Wrs open just terrible throws . The one miss throw to Fitz was mind boggling

You are right. The interception I was thinking of that was so terrible was the 4th interception.

Well, your point still stands. That's an idiotic throw you expect the rookie who came into the game to make, not a fifth-year. Turner said Matt jumped in the huddle after that one and simply said, "I don't know what the **** I was thinking. Now let's go play."

I'd like to disagree with you. I'd really like to.

Yesterday was an awful performance by the Falcons in my eyes. Terrible. That's why it is so funny to me that they won.

The one thing I can say though, is that even though the Falcons might play terrible when they are playing bad teams, they've played very well when they play good teams.

So that is a pattern that I hope continues into the post season, because they won't see any terrible teams there.

Yeah I don't see Falcons playing terrible and winning a ugly playoff game I just don't . Any team with a half decent QB puts that game away yesterday and win easily . Falcons need to get back to basics with this team . We're starting to go all over map . Ryan is on pace throw 640 times . I mean WTF

To only on pace for 32 TDs ..

and lol @ people wanting screens . These wr bubble screens rarely work . Good for Ryan comp % tho..
