Karst41
Going into this game, the stats on this match up areforecasting some Nasty business this weekend.Probabilities are that Spoon and Julio will be out.Julio if he plays is likely to be diversionary or limited routes. Here is a quick Snap shot of their Defense.Ranked #5 NFLRanked #2 Passing NFL,,, that is stellar.Ranked #23 Rushing. this concerns me.The Aints are dead last in the league and the held us to 46 yards last week.Alarming is the differance between the top ranked rushing Defense TBB is a differance of 46 yards. So they can shut down our passing game and justkey in on the run. Big Trouble right there. On Offense they are dead last when it comes to running the ball, but with us at #25 we are not much better, and only better by 16 yards per game.Passing, we are ranked 3rd and they are 16th with a margine of 61 yards per game.15 yards sepperate this game on paper.Vegas has us at 10 point favorites and with Spoon and Julio questionable, this clearly illustrates oneof the many ways that Vegas is in the businessof Making Money.I see a very tight game in the making and Vegas cleaning up on the spread.Whizzinpants can make a nasty Game Plan for our O Line, and their Injury report is clean for this time of year.We Do Not blow this team out and if our RushingAttack does not find a New Life this weekend, itcould very well be one ugly Sunday for us.The Cards are on a 5 game losing streak andthey are close to getting their team back on track. To make matters worse, they are coming off their Bye Week.To all you J/O's who do not know how to read a post.I want our Falcons to win just as bad as the rest of you,I just told you all how and why we could very easily lose this game.10 point spread, In a Pigs Eye!Some of you will say,,Karst you predict that we will lose every game.Sho Nuff, look at our 8-1 record and y'all know that is a very fortunate record.I am not saying we did not deserve it.We are going to have to earn it this weekend, and the Only Way we win is with our O Line keeping Ryan Clean.Troll says you ????We will see about that soon enough says I. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. Group
Ethos
The thing is the Cardinals offense is so terrible they make the team look bad as a whole. Cardinals offense have been giving the ball away like it's Christmas the past few weeks. If the Cardinals offense find's it's bearing then were in trouble. FalconFanSince1970
I thought about this today too Karst. Their defense has the ability to clown us. Campbell will be out though which could help us. I know one thing though, 99% of this board has already penciled this win in just like they did last week. If somehow we lose, this aint gonna be a happy place. Trust me.
Karst41
Skelator is not as much of an issue as Wisenhunt's game plan. They started the season strong and then fell apart at the seams. Now they are comming of the Bye and unlike the Eagles they dohave an O Line.If you were to project a 16 game season for Skelator, it would bearound 3100 yards or better. That is more than serviceable than our rushing attack. They can Shut us down Sunday, but our strong suit is thatwe play strong in the 4th quarter. We have to Strike Early and then Late. It's far and away their weakest unit, and possibly the weakest in the league..

Falconwhit
We just don't seem to match up well with the Saints especially mentally....we seem too jacked up. I think we come out mean and nasty against the Cards (the O-line and Turner will play mean because they were called out this week) and we'll blow them out. Look for us to have 6-7 sacks on them and that will make the difference. We'll also rush for over 100 yards.
g-dawg
I think that Cards will take away Roddy if Julio is out. Patrick Peterson will bracket him and have safety help. None of our other WRs are scary to opposing defenses and HD really makes no plays.Cards Front 7 will easily stop Falcons running game w/o putting safety in box. Seems like Matt Ryan will have to be very precise and probably have to complete 25-28 short passes to be effective. This is a really, really bad game for Julio to miss against a very good defense. The best thing we have going for us in this game is a poor Cards offense. Falcons probably have to eek out another unimpressive home win in this one - say 19-17. Francis York Morgan
Now they are comming of the Bye and unlike the Eagles they do have an O Line. They've allowed the most sacks in the league and their running attack is terrible, fool

It's far and away their weakest unit, and possibly the weakest in the league..That would be the Eagles and last week we were certain that the Aints were turnstiles. When you look at theStats the one thing that you can count on is that, there is not muchseperation betewwn a first place team and a last place team.Which by the way, I did forget to say that Penalties will be a huge factor in a closely matched game. Is 15 yards avarage close enough for you?

Falcons could use Julio much more than need Spoon in this game.thank God this is a home game.

PokerSteve
I think you're right this game could be a h3lluva lot tougher than a lot of people in here assume. Like you, I sincerely hope that's not the case, but there is the ugly trend this Falcons team has of playing down to the level of its competition. Also we seem to have a difficult time with the treacherous concept of playing not to lose rather than playing to win. I think it's going to be a very close game, but I'm hoping home field advantage gives us the edge over their having had a bye week to rest and prepare for this one. AtlantaFalconPokerPro
I don't care how good their D is. If you can't run the ball, pass the ball, or protect the passer then you aren't gonna win. I'd give 100:1 odds that we win this game.
