Karst41
Personally I do not care if you like this post or not.Read on if you will or just go to the next topic. The Staints were having a Miserable Seaon, and guess who just turned the Staints entire season around?Uh yes that would be the Falcons, whos fans cry aboutthe lack of respect.Whose players are no un disciplined and pompous.I do not care what you say , because the proof wasspilled all over the Super Dome. The Aints were struggling, and what better way to fixthings up with a Win.Even Better, Fix things is with a win at home.Even better way to fix things is wit a win at home against a Division Rival!Better yet. how about a win At Home against the Falcons.......Still better a Division Leading Falcons. And if that is not enough here is The Crown Jewel.A win against an Undefeated Falcons! How about that folks, we gave the Aints every thing that they could have dreamed of yesterday and by gawdwe just saved their season by giving them a huge boost. This Loss is nothing shy of an Epic Failure ofthe Atlanta Falcons.I have told you all time and time again.Never underestimate an opponent NEVER.It is an instant kiss of Death. What is even worse about yesterday is that the Aintsfully exploited our weaknesses on Defense and haveset the blue print for our remaining opponents.Spoon would have made a differance yesterday, but our pass coverage was so bad that we would have been lucky to get the win.Oh one last thought. The days of our last minute heroics are over.No team willever let us get that close again.Shut down Roddy and Julio.Turner is too slow for the NFL....... Game Over. That just leaves Gonzo or us as a one deninsional team.Shermans Burning of Atlanta was a prettier scene thanus giving the Aints what we did yesterday. In 46 years this is just more of the SOS.Aint nothing Changed and nothing will untilwe bring home a Lombardi.Shame it wont be this year, (run it up the middle)I could have swore that Mularkey was calling our plays yesterday. So Bugger Off! The Mattural
It must be nice to have no accountability , you should call yourself an expert and write for nfc south blog. This is a cop out the sky is falling thread. You say we aren't jack because we lost to Drew Brees in their house when they needed a win to stay alive , you're right we should have won but it's only one loss. Now if we lose in the playoffs you'll point to this post and do the I told you so. Well you can go to 31 other teams boards and do the same if you'd like. Do the falcons a favor and don't pretend to be a fan. I for one will root for this team no matter what, I will always hold hope that we can win it all. Nothing's changed.I'm no fairweather, and I'm no pessimist, but I haven't had that "this year is different" feeling that I got in week 2 after the Broncos game. I really hope it is, but if we lose in the playoffs again..Ugh, it'll just be frustrating.

Embarrasing. How about the one where the middle shut down and all he had to do was bounce rightand run for the promised land.Turner is nothingmore than a busted old mule that runs with the blinders on.We have No real running back.Matbe Antoine Smith can save us but I doubt that. slick0ne
I hear you man but they need to learn how to tackle, bro. Pete and Dent met Ivory in the hole a couple of times and couldn't get him down (Thought that's what LB's do). And I agree something has to be fixed with the run game.We won't really be facing too many more Jimmy Grahams the rest of the way and they didn't really shut down White and Julio. So I don't think the blue print is exactly set.White = 7 for 114 @ 16.3avgJones = 4 for 75 @ 18.75avg (playing hurt)

Drew Brees and the saints aren't that bad. We were at their house and we barely lost. Even more impressive is we got in the hole and we didn't quit. In recent years we would've rolled over and died. We aren't perfect I get that , but move on and quit your crying.
paulitik
I agree with you, except the Super Bowl part. We are still the best team in the NFC. We have as good of a shot as anyone. The season isn't over, no one should be fired. Someone should possibly be benched or moved down the depth chart.I'm angry because we treated the Saints like it was another game we could squeak by.I'm angry because we showed up cocky instead of angry.I'm angry that we allowed the worst D in the NFL dominate our OL, like they were the 2000 Ravens.I'm angry that we forgot what Brees did to us last year,I'm angry we didn't take advantage of their weaknesses, their horrible offseason. They had every disadvantage and we played down to them. Right into their gameplan.I'm angry that this team doesn't seem to take this rivalry as seriously as the fans do.Am I the only person on the boards that think that beating the Saints is as important of a psychogical hurdle as winning a playoff game?As I mentioned in an earlier post, think about this.In 2008, we beat the Saints in the Super Dome, we win the division, get a home playoff game, possibly a bye. Carolina has to go to Arizona. In 2009, we sweep the Saints, possibly giving us the Division, changing the entire trajectory of their post season run.2010, bragging rights of being the first team to ever sweep the division. Saints barely make it to the playoffs.2011, Division champs again. a home playoff game.So don't argue that this isn't an important game. It's the 2 most important games of the season. Cheyakita
Sad, how do you people live your lives when ONE game takes you down so bad, I'd hate to see what a little adversity in your life does!?! You would think we were the saints at 4-5 instead of 8-1. If you can't lose with humility perhaps pro football isn't for you.
