The rich folks should cheer up. President Obama won 8 of the 10 richest counties in the country for a reason. His Presidency has been very good for the rich folk.

I just love seeing people claim that Obama is making things better. I am pretty sure that I saw posters in here bashing Bush because the rich were getting richer during his time in office but are strangely silent on it when it is Obama.

One could imagine my surprise when I recently read an article by an economist named Emmanuel Saez.

Mr. Saez is the E. Morris Cox professor of economics and director of the Center for Equitable Growth at the University of California at Berkeley, no bastion of conservatism. Mr. Saez's field of expertise is public economics. According to Mr. Saez, fully 93 percent of the income gains made during the Obama "recovery" in 2010 went to the despised top 1 percent, while the other 99 percent saw only a 0.2 percent growth in real income.

Embarrassingly, during the Bush years, the top 1 percent gained 65 percent and the income gains during the 2002 to 2007 economic expansion, while the bottom 9 percent saw a real income grow by 6.8 percent.

Romney had more welfare voters than Obama. Oh I forgot, welfare is code for Black. Anyway, most of these folks are just disappointed/ I didn't see anything crazy in those pics other then Thump and the guy with the face tat.

Mostly because every time Obama says something there are a group of morons who rather loudly call him a socialist or Marxist, or communist......or Facist

Or some other kind of Ist that quite frankly does not fit in with any sort of reality.

that has nothing to do with what I am saying

point is that under Obama the rich got richer and the poor got poorer...same thing that people bitched about Bush, but even worse. yet Obama doesn't get a bad rap for it

fact is that it doesn't much matter who is there....the middle class is getting ****** over

Actually he has gotten a good bit of flack for being a shill for wall street.

I may not be as vocal as " derp socialism" but it is there.

I believe that many of the intellectual liberals on here voted for Obama because they saw him as a lesser of two evils but you can't deny that the masses are buying his words hook, line, and sinker and not even looking at his true record.

but you could also make that claim about most presidential elections, unfortunately. goes back to people saying that we have the government we deserve

I know I can not speak for others. But I voted for him because Romney was too much of the politician.

Yeah I know Obama is as well but Romney literally could not go a single debate with out flip flopping on issues.

Plus the fact he was the guy who said his plan was " a model for a national plan"

Yet now he wants to repeal that national plan that USED his plan as the model???

I do not know about lesser of 2 evils but there is definitely less slime left behind Obama

and until America gets tired of having to deal with that, the downward spiral will continue. We can argue over which party will get us there faster all we want, but that doesn't accomplish anything

And it is a very legitimate criticism.

No question about it.

I have said many times MY biggest criticism is this....... he took over at the tail end of one of the worse financial crisis's in the history of the country.

A crisis that is very much man made.

There was strait up fraud going on and yet how many people have we seen in jail?

Or prosecuted?

**** some of the people that had a DIRECT hand in some of the issues some how got MORE power.

That is one criticism that I will agree 1000% with anyone about.
