Re: 12/26/11 - Falcons Will Never Forget!

Recommended Posts

Judging by how easy many people seem to think this game is going to be, I'd say a lot of people have already forgotten.

this is always gonna be the toughest game of the year for both teams no matter what the record is. I dont know why but teams in the south just play playoff caliber football when it comes to division opponents. It wouldn't shock me if we lose this game although I dont want the saints to be the team that hands us our first loss. Personally I want to kick the ish out of them while their down

I know they will play us tough. They have a lot of incentive to break our streak. There's not much else going for them this season. Plus they have Lofton who will probably play a good game. But all in all, I think we are a MUCH better team this year. Especially defensively. And I KNOW we are better coached than they are.

So I think we'll be ready and I see us beating them by 10-14 points and putting them out of their misery. When they come to the dome I'm bringing paper bags for any of their fans who try to show up.

Judging from watching the Saints this season, I'd say some people aren't exactly wrong to be confident.

I will never forget the rumours that they pissed on our field logo during a photo shoot after they beat us in Atlanta to take the division and make the playoffs that year they went on to win* the superbowl.

Yeah, I doubt they would've gotten away with that. Just a rumor, nothing more.

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

I believe they did it, and i hope the Falcons players do too.

Not too hard to believe, considering the coaches and players the Saints had that year.

Gregg Williams? Yeah, they did it.

Nothing better than hoisting that Lombardi in thier house this season.

House, you just keep forgetting one MAJOR obstacle. The playoffs. I would like to say, "well, maybe it will be different if you had home field advantage" but, I can't. You had it and you blew it. And blew it bad I may say.
