Peyton 21,045
Romney concession speech coming up. I think that he'll be very gracious towards Obama and will set a conciliatory tone that could open up pressure on GOP in Congress to make some compromises with Obama.I don't think Eric Cantor is particularly concerned with what Mitt has to say, but I do expect it to be a gracious speech. #1 pick™ 571
Dude do you not see the irony of your posts? This is basically what most in the USA sees the GOP as. A fear mongering racist club that is clinging to white power. The GOP doesn't stand with their issues, they stand with people like them or people who want to kiss up to people like them. This should be a wake up call to the GOP to get with the program. I hope they do. No more hate mongering. Racial undertones. Get with the program.
HolyMoses 12,059
Romney just made a subtle reference to losing his virginity to Ann!"She would have made a wonderful first lady and she's been that and more to me . . . "nice.

I've been disgusted with the "socialist obamacare is going to kill you and your parents" fear mongering rhetoric as much as anyone but lets not go over board. A person is free to vote a republican and just because they white does not mean they did so for racist reasons. And lets not pretend that a good portion of African Americans didn't just vote for Obama cause he's black. Most black people I know voted for him because he's a democrat and therefore not only has their demographic's best interests at heart and because they genuinely believe he is best leader for our country. But a good many went out and voted for the guy because they're black and so is he. They're not much better than the white guy who will never vote for a black man for President no matter how much better an option he might be.

I would have considered voting for Mitt Romney the Governor of Massachusetts and the speaker we saw tonight.

A person is free to vote a republican and just because they white does not mean they did so for racist reasons.Dude, the GOP had a chance to re-brand themselves. Instead they just went even more to fear mongering and racism to a greater degree. Admit it, the GOP tried to scare the rest of White America into voting for someone white and it failed and failed badly. No one is saying your white and voting for the GOP is racist. I never said that once. I did say the GOP main thing they did was fear monger and race bait for four years and what happened? 303-206.

Peyton 21,045
One thing I have to say.....the Obama team did an incredible job with the resources in this election. They spent just enough in all of the battleground states to eek out a win in state after state. I mean..it can be argued that it is a sad thing that the negative attack ads were so effective...but the truth is that they were...and politics is a contact sport.
