Basically your isp is likely to track you data to see if it matches copywrite material. If it does then they will send you a letter basically "you got busted dl`ing stuff".

They say its not a strike system but all signs are saying it is. On like your 5th or 6 letter you can be dropped by your isp or they can send your info to the copywrite people so they can sue you.

Kids tend to like to dl stuff like music games etc etc etc.

The road to he!l is paved with good intentions. This is the start. It will be a slow process but in time your traffic will be monitored (something most ISP doesn't even consider doing right now.). Normally you have to screw up bad to get in trouble on the net. This system is screwed. Like if you have a open router and a neighbor logs on and dl`s stuff you would get screwed by it. Then you gotta spend $35.00 to argue it in which case wont even matter.

They have been trying to pass this for years. Its now been passed. Basically the isp became the INTERNET police.

Here is a great website that talks about all the hot topics about the Internet and laws and privacy.
