fansince78
Is it possible some, some fans have lost their minds? Consider the 6-0 Falcons. To hear some tell it, they're 3-3. These know nothings expect perfection each week from an imperfect game, in a league of parody, involving humans. There is no perfection. Remember when everyone told us the Texans and 49ers were better? Well, Texans got blown out last night at home. 49ers now have 2 losses. How about the Patriots? They can't do anything right, including a loss last night to Seattle. Ravens? They scored 9 points two weeks ago and are now riddled with injuries. The Falcons are 6-0 after a few less than stellar outings. Of course the run defense and O line will be scrutinized by a sharp coaching staff. Hugely revealing games are ahead, as in at Philly and home against NY Giants. Bottom line--keep winning to earn a home playoff game, avoid injuries, though that's not entirely possible, and protect Matt Ryan. The rest is a lot of hot air, and that's being kind. delaigle
truth ----both are correct--- here at least.the parody is that the League stressed parity to the utmost. Why --to keep viewers tuned in and game goers in their seats. The league looses vast amounts of dollars if blowouts happen often. If viewers change the channel then the league gets less dollars for "inferior product" next bid cycle with the networks and the staduims get less money when the fans leave at half time. The league wants no blowouts and more closely contested games in order to keep viewers/goers in their seats for the entire game. The owners, coaches, and refs know their future fortunes are in close games to the end.remember it's a business and the rule is maximize profits. MilleniumFalcon
Which WSB anchor was this? Anyways, the best thing you can say about the Falcons is that they haven't played their best football yet. They're gonna need it when the schedule gets a bit tougher. PokerSteve
So the WSB news anchor is a Kool-Aide slurping Homer Zombie fan hater when he's typing on his Facebook page. Woop-ti-do. Total waste of space to put this up. It means nothing, unless maybe you're in a romantic relationship with said WSB anchor? tsk, tsk, tsk.
