680 was interviewing HD83 this morning, and of course Finn is one of the anchors now. They were asking Harry about any advice tha Finn gave him, and you could hear nothing but genuine admiration coming from Harry.

It was pretty cool. Harry talked about how big of an impact Finn has had on his life, how he gives him off the field advice and has always been there for him. He said that he calls him pops and that he's been a true father figure to him.

I always loved Finn, but this made me respect him even more. I had no idea Harry and Finn were that close. You could tell that Finneran was proud too lol.

Finneran is classiest Falcon I have ever met. Such a nice guy and I cannot say that enough. He will always be one of my favorite players.

Indeed. It was a very heartfelt response from Harry. You could sense that he and finn had an extremely genuine connection.

i have always loved me some finn. i can't think of a better role model for HD. they are very similar in skill set,but HD is obviously more athletic.

i know there are only "so many balls" to go around, blah, blah, blah. but, we need to design some plays that HD is 1st option against a nickle or dime back, or maybe a LB.

dude has skills. very underutilized IMO.

He isnt afraid to go across the middle either. I remember the NO game last season when he ate up the NO Def. I think if given the chance, he could take over a game. Especially vs. LBers.

Norwood was much more fun to watch with the ball than Finn, but I for one miss Finn on the team more than Norwood. Class, clutch player with great hands and even though he didn't get many YAC's he routinely positioned himself well.

Very cool to hear about helping HD.

I constantly WANT to believe that but we don't go to him much and when we do he drops some of them so who knows. Every year I think this is gonna be the year HD kills some defenses...

At this point I think HD is just gonna be average. He still drops easy passes, and can't get off the LOS half the time. I HAVE seen him wide open and Ryan never even looks at him though. I was complaining about it in the Carolina game. HD was open the whole first half. So Ryan finally hits him in the hands with a pass and he drops it. I dunno. I'd favor giving Drew Davis more snaps at this point. HD will make a much bigger impact at punt returner.

For years, Brian was the only real WR we had on this roster, and unfortunately he was beset by injuries and the Mora regime that constantly tried to replace him.

He put together a nice career, all things considering.

Anyone remember the end of the Green Bay playoff loss? Finn was our ONLY receiver that could get open that night. He came into the game late and had several big catches. Of course, the game was pretty much decided by then. We could have scored 28 in the last 10 minutes and Green Bay would've just scored 29.

That was only 2 years ago, but it seems like forever since Finn played.
