falcons4life
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000078819/article/mike-mularkey-still-thinking-playoffs-for-jaguarsThe Jacksonville Jaguars are searching for answers on the heels of their 41-3 loss to the Chicago Bears, but coach Mike Mularkey isn't giving up hope."I certainly hate to count us out of the playoffs," Mularkey told The Florida Times-Union.Mularkey's argument has to do with the deep past. He was coach of a Buffalo Bills team in 2004 that started 1-4 and finished 9-7, just missing the postseason. Buffalo marched into bleak territory before generating excitement down the stretch. This Jaguars team is 1-4 and flailing behind an offense that's posted 65 points in five games, dead last in the NFL. The defense can't get off the field. We're not sure what's different about this year's Jaguars from outfits of old, but Mularkey said after Sunday's loss, "We're closer than you think."We simply need to see it on the field.Follow Marc Sessler on Twitter @MarcSesslerNFL. Peyton
I said at the beginning of the year that he should win the NFL Coach of the Year if that team wins 6 games. I'm not liking his chances of getting to 6 at this point.

GritsPittz
Mularkey isn't the worst offensive coordinator, we won a lot of games because of his ball control offense. Sure we didn't win in the playoffs but our defense scheme wasn't any good against the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, and Kurt Warner either. Mularkey had a lot to do with our success the 4 years he was here.If you want to be talking about bad former Falcons offensive coordinators, Gregg Knapp is coming to town this week. Thiccolas Cage
Mularkey is a funny man. The Texans are fortunate to be in that division.
