As much as teams throw the ball now days that's just not that impressive. Now if it were 48 straight games with 2 touchdown passes then I would be impressed. But you can get a fluke touchdown pass to keep a streak like that alive.The original record back when Johnny Unitas set it was far more impressive for a number of reasons. The passing game in the NFL back then was nowhere near what it is now. The defenses were tougher because there weren't near as many rules back to favored the offense. Defenses were allowed to do pretty much whatever they wanted. Plus QBs and WRs didn't have all that protection they have now. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
