falcndave
Dude is no pass catcher. We know that. However, he is another guy who has to make routine catches once we get into the post season.I say we excuse him from the next 4 weeks of practice and have him spend 3 hours a day catching passes from a machine, tucking them away, and turning up field. TheIdowu
Out of every other more important aspect of today;s game, you nitpick Turner catching out of the backfield. . . . you really created a thread for this?
Tribal Chief
Rodgers seems to have a hard time catching easy ones as well. Glad to see my boy HD get some looks today

Yes I created a thread. These are the little things that could lead to a mind numbing "0-4 in the playoffs." I was never down on Turner's running like the rest of the haters. Never any reason to be. I'm pro Turner. He must catch the stupid easy passes though. He really must. January is coming.
k-train
ehhhh... he did take one 60+ yards for a TD a week ago. Seems to be the exception to the rule for him, but there really wasn't much for anyone on the screens and check downs today. Thier d did a good job of taking that stuff away. Falconsfan567
I thought Turner wouldn't have a problem making easy 3 yard routine catches but he does. He's got hands like bricks.
Sheldon Cooper
I really hope we get a duel threat RB who can star as the feature back next year. Our offense is missing an explosive running game. I think that is what would put us over the top as an explosive offense.Too bad we are going to lose Gonzalez, I have no idea how we will replace him. Sheldon Cooper
I do agree that Turner needs to work on his hands and prove in practice that he can be counted on in games. I think he should lose 5 or 10 pds since we use him less this year and try to be a bit quicker too.

For this season, Turner is the man and he is explosive in my mind. His yards per carry have been right up there the last three weeks. Turner is a defenses worst nightmare. 3 yards, 4 yards, 3 yards, gone for a TD with DBs not even trying to get in his path.
xxstealth
every time Turner would have been nailed if he caught those, no point in losing our best RB for a 3 yard pass over the middle, just drop them and stay healthy.
MilleniumFalcon
Jason Snelling seems to be the only reliable back that can catch passes.

falcndave
It wasn't only Turner today, what was the calls to Hawley?Hawley gets a pass from me. Not the same at all. If Hawley catches one, it is a bonus. He was never hired to handle the football.
