scottp12
Why are they playing at 915 crimson?
CrimsonKat
Why are they playing at 915 crimson? It's only 8:15 in Tuscaloosa but still really late obviously. ESPN picked this one up a few weeks ago -- not sure why it is in this late slot.
Carter
That was a hit!
CrimsonKat
That was a hit!Ole Miss headhunting tonight. Two good hits on that first drive. And the first one was by a familiar name -- Nkemdiche.
CrimsonKat
Nice spin move by Eddie Lacy in traffic. 3-0 Alabama on a Jeremy Shelley field goal.Bad news though that WR Deandrew White suffered a serious knee injury on the first drive. Probably done for the season.
CrimsonKat
Bo Wallace just had one of the best 1 yard runs in the history of college football. It was like watching a wounded antelope run from a pack of lions.
CrimsonKat
Ole Miss using a pass interference penalty to keep a drive alive and now knocking on the door of the endzone. Alabama has not trailed in a game all season. I like the look of Ole Miss. Hugh Freeze has done a good job. Much improved from a season ago. They at least have some offensive identity with the hurry up.
Reeves
7-6 Ole Miss. Great drive.
CrimsonKat
Touchdown Ole Miss. Took them three tries from the foot line but got it in on a sweep by Jeff Scott. 7-6 Ole Miss. First time Alabama has trailed in 10 games.
Reeves
And that was short-lived. Jones with a KO return for TD. 13-7 Bama.
CrimsonKat
Alabama trailed for the seven seconds it took for Christion Jones to return a kickoff for a touchdown.

CrimsonKat
This defense doesn't like getting scored on apparently. Sacked Bo Wallace and then intercepted him. Alabama ball in Ole Miss territory.

CrimsonKat
AJ to true freshman Amari Cooper for the TD. 20-7 Alabama.
CrimsonKat
We all know what the tide does to teams in the 2nd halfThis year we mostly play our reserves in the second half. By the way, that was only the third TD on the first string defense for the season. Only have given up 4 TDs overall.
CrimsonKat
Defense still angry about giving up those points. Intercept Wallace again -- this time it's Robert Lester.

CrimsonKat
Wow, replay ref blew that one. They say Lester fumbled and give ball back to Ole Miss. It was pretty clear he stepped out of bounds and, at worst, it was inconclusive.
CrimsonKat
That's fine, we will just take the ball back. Interception #3 -- this one by Deion Belue.

CrimsonKat
Amari Cooper putting on a show. Adds his second touchdown grab of the game on an outstanding jump ball play.
CrimsonKat
27-7 Alabama at the half. I will say though that I think Ole Miss is a better team than they were last season. They will be able to play with Arkansas and Auburn IMO.
CrimsonKat
TD Ole Miss to cut it to 27-14. Ole Miss has played well on both sides of the ball.
