Andre5000
in 7 years !! he's in 8th grade. Isaiah Stokes. 6'7" 225 lbs !!! LOL http://www.rantsports.com/prep-sports/2012/09/25/a-new-standard-of-intimidation-set-by-isaiah-stokes/ We always hear stories about freakishly big athletes playing sports. And they always seem to be incredibly intimidating, both to other players and fans themselves.Intimidation is a key factor in sports, and big guys have a much easier time pulling it off than smaller guys.Imagine what the 6’10’’ Randy Johnson looked like standing on a pitching mound, then hearing one his fastball go past your face. Yes, you would be intimidated. There will always be tall basketball players, and most are incredibly thin. Imagine going against a 7’2’’ and 340lb bruiser in Shaquille O’Neal in his prime. Wow.Football players are no different, there are some huge guys playing. But there are still some freaks, guys likeBryant McKinnie (6’8’’ 375lbs) and Marcus Cannon (6’5’’ 358lbs) will still standout. But all those guys were fully developed men. Grown adults, if you will. Not teenagers.Everyone, meet Isaiah Stokes from Memphis Tennessee. He’s in the 8th grade, and he plays football. He is 6’7’’ 225lbs. Let that sink in folks. An 8th grader at 6’7’’ 225? Wow. You can only imagine how big he is going to be when he is 22 or 23. 7’3’’ 360lbs? Who knows at this rate.Needless to say, it’s not hard for Stokes to pull off the whole ‘intimidation’ thing. Just look at that poor child in the picture- he’s literally running for his life. The child doesn’t have the ball, nor does he want to find the ball. His only concern is making it out of this game alive.Stokes comes from a big family, which can explain some of this gigantic size. His brother Jarnell, was an All-SECFreshman Team member last year for the Tennessee Volunteers basketball team. He is 6’8’’ 270lbs. He’s also probably 5 or 6 years older than Isaiah, who is only an inch shorter than he.With all these stories of young teenagers getting big time scholarship offers, it’s only a matter of time until we hear Isaiah’s name getting called. airforceone
When I was that age, I was the size of the smaller kid. That tall dude would be the first person I hit on the field lol!! Edited September 28, 2012 by airforceone
Romfal
you're gonna laugh, but that normal size kid has a better chance of reaching the NFL.that big guy will either get too big, have a ton of knee problems by the time hes 20 or pick up basketball.
