Trouble
The Packers weren’t happy about the outcome of last night’s game against the Seahawks. How happy weren’t they?Offensive lineman T.J. Lang told 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit on Tuesday that, during the flight home from Seattle, the players discussed the possibility of going on strike — or simply taking a knee on every offensive snap — until the lockout of the officials ends.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/25/lang-says-packers-discussed-extreme-measures-on-flight-home/Its one thing to be pissed off. But going on strike or throwing games? Thats pathetic to even consider it.

SaintRay
I totally get what he's saying.Green Bay was completely hosed last night. They lost because of the replacement refs blowing 2 major calls on the Seahawk's last drive. And if any of you were Packer fans, you'd be 100% onboard with what Lang is suggesting.People, no matter who you pull for, need to come to grips with what Hiz Honor is doing to the NFL. Problems are everywhere between the League Office and Players Association. Hiz Honor has too much power and he's flexing his muscle in ways never seen before.Just wait until this hits your team.....its coming. And if you are a Falcon fan, don't let your fast start skew what is really happening right now across the league. It's getting nasty and it's going to get worse in the weeks ahead. Papa's Home
All this controversy, and all I can think of is where was all this sympothy a few years ago when we got hosed at Philly, by the " regular" refs on a phantom touched punt and subsequent recover by Philly on Eric Weems. BUT, this was such a blatent miss call by referees that shouldn't even be on the field. It's almost as if the NFL got a bunch of us from RC, gave us an intensive training course over a matter of 2 weeks and paid us to call NFL games. This is how bad this has become! jungleking
I've heard writers suggesting it for weeks now. It's as much of a player safety issue as it is a competitive one--recall the cheap, head-to-head shot on Greg Jennings the other night? You think that happens with the real refs around? Players know they can get away with stuff without having to worry about flags. The players don't owe it to anyone to play a game that isn't working to keep them safe at all. SyCo
are you saying the players don't owe it to anyone to keep playing a game that the players are taking advantageof?nfl needs to step up alright..and suspend these players and coaches trying to take advantage of the refs
