Guvmintcheeze
Atlanta Falcons: Team works out two defensive backs3:42 pm September 25, 2012, by D. Orlando LedbetterFLOWERY BRANCH — The Falcons worked out a couple of defensive backs — Marlin Jackson and Syd’quan Thompson — today.Neither of the players were signed. The Falcons generally consider it their due diligence to work out some of the top free agents on Tuesdays during the regular season.Jackson, 29, 6-foot, 196-pounds, was a first-round draft pick by the Colts in 2005. He has started 32 NFL games and played in 56.Thompson, 25, 5-9, 191 pounds, was a seventh round draft pick by the Broncos in 2010.With the season-ending injury to Brent Grimes, Dominique Franks, who was cut at the end of training camp and later re-signed, currently is the Falcons starting nickel back. NoMoreVick
Was Owens back last week or is he still having concussion issues? No, he was out last week. Not sure how long the issue will go on, but I'd expect him back this week or next.

Izo#2883
Owens was knocked out completely. Hard to tell how long the ramifications from the concussion lingers, and if feels odd to say this, but I really believe Nolan found out how to utilize him properly. Get well soon Chris. rightsaidfred
I think if Owens can properly use the word ramifications in a complete sentence he should be cleared to play...
Sheldon Cooper
Maybe Owens shines outside on right side with Robinson inside. I see Franks inside for now and he is making mental mistakes that could cost us when teams start taking advantage of it.

Mid-Nite-Toker
Owen's concussion issues and his style of play(SPT) don't bode well for longevity. Glad the F/O is focusing on a big concern(cb/depth).
