It's likely Turner will be surpassed by Roddy, but that's ok too.

It would be nice to see Roddy get a touchdown to at least get to 50. He's been suck on 49 for a long time. Hasn't scored a touchdown since the Raiders game.

man you just made me miss Morten. I wish I would have been a fan then, but I just did not like a lot of the players and coaches. wish I saw all the changes for the off-season before the 08 season I was able to say I was proud of them to be a fan.

- but I really really became a fan when I got into charity work they do. great team on and off the field. I will die a falcons fan, I can promise y'all that.

- - with them getting rid of Edwards problems assured me they were not going to let it ever get bad here again.

(sorry for the long writing I just like to share........but yes I wish I saw more of Morten when I had the chance)

Seeing the sacks list makes me just think, "Wow, what if we had Kerney or Smith in their prime with Abraham right now."

Heck, I'll take Travis Hall in his prime.

Yeah. That would have been great. We only got to see Kerney and Abraham together for 1 game (season opener of 2006). :(

You're right. Makes what Abraham has done here that much more impressive.

I really wish Turner had one more season in him to pass Riggs. Sadly i think his days are done as a Falcon after this year.

I'm wondering on some things.

1. Was it just a bad year for Turner

2. Would mike smooth let him go

I think he should go, just cause we could find a RB in the draft who could punch it when we needed it. I say only keep Turner if he comes down a great deal on his contract.

I don't think it was just a bad year for Turner. Over his past 23 games Turner has rushed 338 times for 1,293 YDS (3.8), 13 TD. He has just 3 games with over 100 yards rushing in that time. He has only 2 other games in that time with at least 80 yards rushing.
