FalconTough
Went from NFL Europe, to becoming one of the NFL's best cornerbacks, all with a small stature.Odds are that was his last game as a Falcon, so I want to say thank you for being one of my favourites and being a class act. What a shame! Corporal Clegg
Thanks BrentDon't let Miko spend all your 10 Million this year cause your going to need to save it and invest it properly.A small CB that depends on jumping high and athletic ability is going to have a hard time coming back from this. Return of the Gaucho
Thanks to Brent Grimes, he was a great player who never got what he deserved with the Falcons (not that I blame the Falcons). This injury sucks, and is exactly why players hate the franchise tag. I really think the players blew it by not finding a way to minimize or remove the franchise tag in the last CBA. If you think about it, Grimes has been playing way below his market value since his second year on the team. This year, he could have gone out and gotten a deal that provided him with long term career security. But he was denied that, and next year will make pennies on the dollar. I feel for Grimes and any other player who has to get hurt in this situation.

Hope he reovers and catches on with a team hopefully not the Aints...

FalconFanForLife
Well don't know if he will be back or not, but I know we are in serious trouble without him despite the idiotic comment made by falcon_owns_the_nfcsouth. We got shredded in the first half by Cassel. I am having nightmares thinking what Manning and other QBs of that caliber will do to this defense without Grimes on the field. Thanks Brent: it was fantastic watching you develop into one of the best CBs in the league even if you were not always appreciated by some of our ignorant fanbase. I feel for Grimes and any other player who has to get hurt in this situation.I'm sorry, but I have a difficult time feeling sorry for professional athletes who can't provide a "secure future" for themselves and their families when they're making MILLIONS of dollars per year. Most get at least three or four years in the NFL at these incredibly overblown salaries. And Grimes gets $10m this year. That's not enough to retire on right now comfortably? How much is enough, anyway? Jebus.

They will find the weakness and attack. It's not a difficult process
Radiohead
wow, farewells already....That is probably is it for him and the Falcons.Going on 30 with season-ending injury.-- TD was having second thoughts about signing him for a bunch of $$$ long-term prior to the injury, now, there's no chance.Furthermore, Grimes has proven he is not willing to negotiate for a lower price and there will most certainly be some desperate team come the offseason willing to overpay him.
