laynepink
I admit I was skeptical about Dirk, but wow this offense looks totally different. It actually has swagger! Ryan looks much more confident and the crossing routes are something we've missed for years. Good job so far Dirk!
Smiler11
Best offensive play calling I can remember from a Falcons OC, obviously execution played a big part.

Smiler11
Those WR bubble screens were a thing of beauty.
*NiteFalcon*
he's implemented a nice system but lets hope he can get the running game turned around a bit
jbird84
As soon as KC keyed in on something he went to something else we never did one thing for too long and they only forced one punt as a result. We imposed our will on a good team with a good head coach on opening day in a hostile environment we did what we wanted when we wanted to do it Turner just being in the backfield is a threat that defenses have to respect cos if they don't then we will use him spread the ball around good job welcome to Atlanta
Clark Kent™
I always thought it was obvious he would do well. The thing about him is that no one said he was going to completely change the offense to start the season. It wouldn't be THAT much different than Mularkey except more screens to RB/WR. And we already had a good offense. Did anyone think he would suck?I am ok with HD's 3/32 line, but i'd like us to use him like KC used Mccluster today. Mr. Falcon J.D.
I was disappointed that he was not a big name. I was 110% wrong. Proud to be a Falcon today.

Top Flight
loved the playcalling. except that one play at the goal line he decided to pass which led to a KC sack. Obvious running situation but other than that loved every single call
Tony Diesel
I was very skeptical on the Koetter hire. LOVING it now!
FBoogz7
Loved his play calling !!!! Very aggressive & you can see that he's training Ryan to take shots down the field but Ryan was smart to take what the defense gave him today !!!! Hopefully he doesn't get poached from us to be a head coach.

Darkflight
I will gladly eat my crow. Great job Dirk.I was wasn't sure about Dirk. But if the offense can look like that against some of the better teams in the league I'll be sold.

laynepink
Why didnt the Jags want him?Mularkey wanted one of his puppets to be his OC.
Magic Man
This hire feels much like the TD and MS hires. All of us were left going WTF?!, when they got hired but realized, after seeing these guys in their jobs, it may take a different approach than the flavor of the week to get the job done, the right way. Magic Man
Why didnt the Jags want him?Mularkey and his Jags have a Geo Storm sitting in their garage with a teenager behind their wheel. The Falcons have a Corvette Stingray with Jeff Gordon behind their wheel. Maybe DK didn't want them with the Falcons job open.
Carl927
I didn't like the Koetter hire.I've never been happier to be wrong - and that's saying something. I'm wrong an awful lot.
paulitik
It was as almost as good as I''ve ever seen this team run. I might have to preheat the oven for the crow I'm having for dinner.
pzummo
My only complaint was dropping back to pass on 1st and goal from the 2. Don't get cute. Pound Turner. That's the reason we have him. Otherwise, flawless gameplan, great playcalling, and excellent execution!
TheIdowu
yall get too caught up in big names. . . big names dont become names just by being names. they become names by doing what koetter is doing now. . . .building his resume. everyone starts somewhere and koetter will CONTINUE to do well. . . mark my words this time around then
JOEinPHX
What? No love for the offensive assistant?
