Good Grief I Wish We Had Taken

Recommended Posts

Oh hail no.

I finally got a post digger on my side. Thank you Muskoka.

The main reason I was so down initially on the trade up for JJ is because I thought losing all those picks might prevent us from getting a quality complimentary RB like Murray - a position I felt going into this draft was as big a need (or bigger) than WR

Coop. Where you at son?

I'm right here.

And Murray is still sitting injured on the bench, preventing him from ripping off those 15 straight starts you claimed he would.

You're familiar with how the term "beast" is used around here. It's an exaggeration used to describe a player one likes.....often replaced by "breast"

Indeed I am, though I don;t think I have ever heard it used towards a player for a "complimentary" position. I think you know his intentions with the original post, no need to argue semantics imo. The fact that he would be willing to take him in the first round "I would have taken that mofo in the first round. No kidding." points to his belief that Murray would be a star RB in the NFL, not a "good complimentary back."

Please direct me to the use of "stud workhorse" by me.

I said he would be a complimentary RB. He's shaping up to be exactly that.

Post #318. You attribute that opinion to the OP. He was enthusiastic about Murray, but I don't see anything akin to "stud workhouse" as you claim.

I guess am I supposed to be embarrassed that I once referred to Murray as a "quality complimentary RB?" I'm sorry, did he recently become a stud workhorse and I just didn't hear about it?

"Beast" is very often used here as an expression of admiration for a player, not as a description of the player's style. Does the OP use the term "star RB"? Demarco Murray was well known on this MB and in many pre draft mocks, but nobody ever believed he was a Marshawn Lynch clone.

I'm ridiculing a poster for being an insufferable arrogant azz who doesn't know nearly as much as he likes to incessantly claim he does.

Gazoo taught me long ago that when a poster changes from stat attacks to poster attacks he's been exposed. You've been exposed son. Keep digging up posts. You're digging deeper holes.

Muskoka thank you again for exposing this clown.

Truth be told buddy got sideways with me years ago when I exposed him, Fraud, JimsJackedMusic and the rest of them track jackin maggots on ABF. He can't get over it. I'm permantly in his head. Now he's a track jacker and a turrible post digger. LMFAO. This was fun. Thanks.

yeah, not really up for a semantics debate bro, sorry.

My initial point still stand. you don't draft a complementary back in the 1st round unless you are ******** or Micky Loomis.

FFS obviously thought he would be something special

Coop obviously thought he would be a good complementary back

6 games into his 2nd season, do we know Murray won't be something special? Did you see his numbers in the full 8 games he played once he was named starter? Quite impressive. You don't think Murray can have an impact much like Jamaal Charles? They are very similar, although Murray is off to a better career start.

That's not the reason he's getting attacked anyway. The OP did say we were Dimitroff'd because we didn't draft Murray and we took Quizz in the 5th. He has used the terms "star" and "franchise" RB in his posts about Murray. Usually followed by "trust me".

I am not a post digger. I'm not about to look through 16 pages of this thread and 3 different threads (2 last year plus this one). But he definitely thought it was a huge miss by TD and was very vocal about it after Murray had his breakout game last season. Trust me.

No, he can't stay healthy.

The OP said he would take Murray in the 1st round. You don't draft a RB in the 1st round to be a role player.
