muskokas finest © 7,580
What's Uggla's contract status? Is he in line to replace Jones at 3rd next year?
Unknøwn 13,280
No Uggla is staying at 2B, Prado will shift to 3B and Uggla signed a 5 year $62M deal last year
Falconsfan567 35,212
What's Uggla's contract status? Is he in line to replace Jones at 3rd next year?Uggla signed a huge deal when the Braves traded for him before last season. And no. He won't be moving to 3rd next season. Not nearly good enough defensively for that.Martin Prado is in line to start at 3B next season with the Braves finding someone else to play LF.

Falconsfan567 35,212
Then he must be awful at 2nd.He is. He'll occassionally make a play like he did to end the game last night, but those are few and far between. The Braves just ask him to make the routine plays and his throwing this year has been really awful.
Lou_Dog 445
Ugglas D has been pretty **** good since signing with the Braves reguardless of what some say

Lou_Dog 445
Have you seen him throw?yep, and if he were a centerfielder it would be a huge problem. He is not the best fielding 2nd basemen in the league or anything but he is alot better here than he was in Fla.

How many errors has Freeman saved everyone. Freeman makes everyone look better than they really are. Uggla is better than he has been given credit for but he's still a liability defensively. Falconsfan567 35,212
Well it's not funny that we were just talking about this and Uggla makes what should have been ruled an error.
Dharma Initiative 6,386
He's not hitting homers or batting well which is what we paid him for. But he is 4th in OBP. 2nd in runs and 2nd in RBIs

So where is Uggla once was 1st in all that stuff that's how far he's fallen.

Even being 3rd in RBIs and 2nd in slruns scored....there's no argument that isn't good Edited July 22, 2012 by Dharma Initiative

Didn't realize Ross was one of the guys in front of him. But my point was Uggla was 1st in all that stuff (except average) and now it's he's getting passed by most of the guys. TheFalconRises 1,020
I said it right when they traded Omar...big mistake. We could've signed a bigger bat with the $$$ we would've saved. Uggla is a bum.

Falconsfan567 35,212
Were stuck with this scrub for 3 more years...UGGGGHHHH!!!Well I can't believe we have Nate McLouth 2.0 on the team. Who saw this coming? All this dude ever did for the Marlins was absolutely crush the Braves, especially at Turner Field, and now he can't even make contact half the time and the other half it's weak foul pop outs. Threepac Daddy 275
is it the front office, the coaches or turner field, most of the trades havent worked out in the recent future
