hjerry
I guess it's better than our "potential for a slow start" that we had last year, when everyone was predicting how poorly we'd do in our first 5 games. Kinda sad that they were right.

I think the author might be a tad confused though. Denver will be the toughest game IMO. Also, don't the chargers usually start fast and then fall apart in the colder months? Not to mention the falcons are typically pretty tough on the west coast.

Butudontseeme™
Falcons 5-0 in San Diego.I'm personally not that worried about San Diego. What about you? Obviously they still have Rivers but Gates is normally nicked up and the rest of the offense and the defense lacked a lot to be desired last year. Mid-Nite-Toker
That 1st game seems to trip us up as of late...can't underestimate opening day at Arrowhead.Falcons have to exploit that early schedule.
Butudontseeme™
They are a team that looks great statistically, yet leaves you wondering why they didn't win more, especially in that division. In that way, they are a little like the falcons, just with less consistency and a weaker division. Somewhat underachieving and left wondering of their QB can take the next step.

papachaz
thought this thread was about sacfalcfan at a buffet linei never cease to be amazed at the ryan haters and their never ending supply of new id's when they get banned.....but this was a funny post though
jbrinson
The only games I'm worried about are the games against the NFC East and the Aints. We should win the rest though.
blizzard_falcon
The author seems to be contradicting himself. He points out that Atlanta is 5-0 against the Chargers in San Diego, and also 5-0 in the West Coast under Mike Smith's tenure, but then brings up the fact that "it's a cross-country trip" as a reason we'll lose. Seems like most guys think the new schemes will be much improved immediately but that's only true if everyone is on the same page. If they aren't , the first few games could be disastrous.
