Apostle of Truth
Name the best LT you believe that fits the Falcons, and what players/pics you would give up to get him. This is what Denver did to get theirLT that got Elway the time to throw.

Falcanuck
you would give up Roddy.Don't get me wrong, I love him. But so would Cleveland. He is on the decline and Julio will take over. Would also free up cap space.

Falcanuck
would it be that much, good LT aren't cheapTop LTs aren't traded. They are so expensive, no team in their right mind would give up enough for them. So no that wouldn't be enough even though they are getting a Pro Bowler and two high picks. Free Radical
The Eagles sent a 1st, 4th, and a conditional 6th to the Bills for Jason Peters, who was the best LT in the league last year. Edited July 8, 2012 by Free Radical

Knowing TD he might be trying to make a move. And if a move was made with say Cleveland, then Bakers/Roddys money would be freed up so we could pic up some players that get cut which could be an up grade in other positions. JC Falcon
Roddy and at least a first was exactly what I am thinking, but even that would not do it. As said pro bowl tackles still in their prime are not traded.Kind of like pro bowl QB (Ryan) are not traded.Nothing is a sure thing, which is why you have to take a chance to draft the next pro bowler. We tried with Baker and it does not appear that worked, but there are no other options so we keep trying him until we can draft or develop another. sdogg
2 first rounders. We are a dominate LT away from being the best team in the NFL..I truly believe that.

But think about it if we could work out a deal would you pull the trigger on top 5 young LT. which could put us over the top. A team that needs a lot of players would really think about it, because it would bust their building process.

Which 1 we might already have.

Falcanuck
Roddy is on the decline? Really bro?He peaked in 2011 and probably won't reach that level again, so yeah declining. A very subtle and slow decline I might add though. He'll reach 1000 again, but I don't think he can go "up" from here.

Tuggle'2
Neither do I. Just hypothetical.I can't see us trading anyone of the stars on the team. Possibly Grimes if we can't come to a deal. That in no way means I would ever want to trade Grimes. (before someone takes that the wrong way)
