Nolan is bringing many different looks and sounds like the guys are excited also. Samuels brings the swagger we need. All we need to do on offense is give Ryan a pocket and be unpredictable with our playcalling. The sky is the limit. Thanks Prof for the info! Dharma Initiative
The idea of two ballhawks on the outside and basically another hard hitting safety-like corner in the middle is getting me excited
MattRyan2Canton
We've got playmakers through out the entire secondary. Say what you will about decoud and moores brain farts, I see them being far less under nolan. They'll pick a qb off too and get a nice chunk of yardage back for the offense. TriggeredGG
Glad to hear Robinson is doing well. He's finally in the position where he was good in Houston. I think this year its either do or die for Robinson, especially since hes in his "comfortable" position, he better show us why we signed him to the big contract :/
FalconFanForLife
Yeah I am always excited this time of year, but this year I am especially pumped up. Since the TD, Smitty and Ryan era began we have had really good offenses, but our defense has been mediocre at best. If Nolan can get this defense playing like we hope he can, we could really be looking at a special year coming up. All the offense has to do is improve the O-line (still crossing my fingers on this one) even slightly for us to win big.
kiwifalcon
Its good to hear the secondary is looking better than it has..All you guys going to camp keep me updated on how our front 4 on D looks that was my biggest concern this whole off season. Mid-Nite-Toker
Robinson basically saying bvg is now where he should be...and if DR implied all that, he shouldn't be taking any horrible angles and missing tackles.@Prof or whomever:Is Lamar Holmes a full participant in practice? jbrinson
Decoud might have a pro bowl season in this defense. He always seems to be around the ball when QBs are rushed and he makes the pick.
Mid-Nite-Toker
Decoud might have a pro bowl season in this defense. He always seems to be around the ball when QBs are rushed and he makes the pick.Quite honestly, TD imho is not a player that was held back by scheme...bad angles/missed picks/tackles.When consistency of his play matches the consistency of his flamboyance he will be pro-bowl caliber...regardless of scheme.Defensive line and CB/NB should gain the most from Nolan imho.
