It looks like a promising blog....Title is even somewhat funny and clever.

It appears to me to be too well written to have come from about 95% of this board.

Maybe I am over sensitive, but if a person is serious about writing and wants to establish some journalistic credibility, is that the kind of site name that attracts content-seeking readers or 12 year old boys?

A good friend of mine was the Promotions Director for several television stations and networks across the country....including WGN in Chicago. He told me one time that he hated how sensationalistic he and his department had to be to attract viewers, especially when dealing with news promotion.

"If it bleeds, it leads."

I think the title of this blog kind of falls into that categorization.

An old axiom we see applied every day, sadly. This title seems self-defeating though. If you want to use Ryan's name to attract google hits, why immediately offend someone with the blog name? The creator is essentially limiting himself to Falcons fans, then cheap-shotting most of them right off the top.

On a side note, I didn't get out a magnifying glass, but the infamous picture looks like Ryan went for a slide on the Falcon logo, not crapped himself.

Very easily could be that or just got a hold of some bad Taco Bell.

The photo is like Viagra to his obsessive detractors.

The blog title had me thinking that maybe it came from a Saints fan, but then the quality of writing disqualified 100% of those fools.

Hello, I am one of the two founders of Matt Ryan's Poo Stain. I will address a couple things I noticed in this thread. One, we don't have any dilusions of us becoming a credible news source. We are two guys that love sports, are always going on rants about them, and decided to start a blog to share our rants, and if people like it, awesome. Two, The Stain. It very well could have been from dirt after a slide, but I find it hard to believe that is what it was considering it was a game in St. Louis, which is also a domed stadium, aka, no dirt.

We appreciate all the views we are getting from this thread today, and since I am on here, let me know if there are any sports stories you would like us to rant on.

Thank you!

Oh, and those of you who think the blog name is immature and just for clicks, You are 100% correct on the immature part. We saw the play that left the stain on Matt Ryan's backside, and joked that we should start a blog called Matt Ryan's Poo Stain...a few months later, in the midst of a long email conversation about a random sports topic, we finally gave in and started the blog, expecting it to just be a place for us to share our opinions and have our friends read it. It has taken off better than expected, so we are now Stain committed and proud of it, in all it's immature glory.

I, for one, think it's a clever title for a blog site, and actually found myself pretty engulfed in a few of the posts written. I'm a Falcons fan, and a Ryan fan -- doesn't mean I am going to be up-tight and protest clicking any link that may portray either of them in a negative light.

Kudos to the bloggers ;)

Sorry dude, I don't plan on visting any site taking a dig at my QB, especially when the site has nothing to do with Matt Ryan. I'm sure you'll get the Vickophants that resent Ryan to come on your boards, and as far as I'm concerned you can have them.

The only skidmark I've seen is Sam Bradford's career so far. Maybe you should name it after him. "SpreadQBCan'tStayHealthy.com"
