aerosmith67 2,468
NO PSL's, None!!!!!!I think the Jets/Giants might have killed that trend. (Hopefully)
Duff_Man 12,091
Shame it is too close to other buildings to implode it.

freakyfalcon 723
If they decide to tear the Dome down, I guess the Falcons will be playing at either Boddy Dodd or Sanford Stadium while the new one is being built.
JHav 150
Will Atlanta still be able to host basketball tournaments? For example the NCAA tourney and the SEC tourney like we have in the past
alwaysAfalconfan 11
I like the new stadium idea.Just don't destroy the Dome, just let my alma mater Georgia State buy it. We have been using it for the past 2 years anyway

aerosmith67 2,468
I'd love to see something like Indy has with the ends open to show a city sky scape view.
Rajhae Battle 624
The proposed plan is to build the new stadium next to the Congress Center & the truck yard behind it. The Dome will stay open until completion & the retractable roof will allow for indoor events.I grew up going to Fulton County Stadium, and I may have just been young & didn't know any better, but I enjoyed the atmosphere. The weather was normally pretty good, the fans were great. Really the only bad part was we were losing. So victories there were cause for extra celebration I guess. I would like the fact we could open the roof on beautiful Atlanta Sundays,& close it when the weather was inclement
