xSICKxWITHxITx
Jonathan Vilma - LB - SaintsMLB Jonathan Vilma is reportedly bracing for a 2-8 game suspension for his role in the Saints' bounty scandal. The wide range speaks to the confusion the players involved are still feeling nearly a month after the league handed down its punishment to Saints coaches and executives. A two-game ban would be the absolute best-case scenario for a player who reportedly offered $10,000 to "the guy that knocks out Brett Favre" in the 2010 NFC Championship Game.Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune Apr 16 - 11:56 AM
HouseofEuphoria
2-8 games? lolHe better be bracing for more than that.Seeya in 2013, Wilma.
Hugo Stiglitz
I expect at least a four game suspension with this new information.
paulitik
It seems to me if he was pitching in and encouraging Williams directly, he'd get at least a year.
1989Fan
he wont get a year. I say 4-8 games though.Enough to make him a free agent with his injuries on top of it.
clownorg
I'm thinking a year. two games is a jokeAnd if he was "the worst offender" and gets 2 games, the rest would only get 1. I just see him getting way more
Quarterback
This will be interesting...In a criminal justice case, most commanly the actual perpetrator of a crime gets more punishment than the organizer/enabler of a crime.Who should get the greater sentence, a person than robs and shoots the convenience store clerk or the person who asks him to do it? I mean Peyton got a year for knowing about the bounty and doing nothing to stop it.
Quarterback
Whatever they get, you can count on D. Smith to appeal it. In such a horrid, indisputable case like this, it would crack me up if upon appeal Goodell actually doles out more punishment! You could bet the house from then on the NFLPA would give it some thought before an automatic appeal of anything and everything.
Arkansas Falcon
He'll get more than just 8 games. I'm also thinking that he'll get a year.
FalconState
I think Vilma has to get at least a year
wayofthetruth
2-8 games sounds just right especially when its looking more and more like vilma will be the ONLY suspension....LOL at the failcons fan callin this a "indisputable" case when theres actually a controversy about evidence ATM
vel
It's hilarious they take this so lightly. Payton was devastated to find out here got a year. What was he expecting?! They were completely brainwashed by their on pomposity.
Flip Wilson
I'll go on record as saying that he will get a 6 game suspension. I don't anticipate anything different.
Trouble
Bring`em home TD
PokerSteve
If this is a vote as to the number of games he'll get suspended, I'm thinking eight games minimum, up to the whole season maximum. Two games? ha. ha. ha. lol.
falconsd56
Bring`em home TD No you want to keep him in NO TD.That means Lofton and Hawthorne two MIDDLE linebackers will be playing outside............That is a win for us......and pretty much everyone. ChickenBiscuit
8 games should be sufficient. The rest of the players that participated should get 4-6, so all the Saints fans can see just how "improved" Lofton is in coverage, LOL!

CrimsonFalcon
I'll go on record as saying that he will get a 6 game suspension. I don't anticipate anything different.I'm leaning towards this, but something in my gut says it'll be 8-12 or even the whole season.
big_D
Don't forget that Vilma offered 10,000 of his own money to take out Favre. Vilma knows they have him dead to right on this one. He's hoping for 2 to 8 game suspension. It might be much more and expect Goodell to come out very soon on all the hit men. Juris Prudence on its way. DD: Objective Elite
I would be shocked if he isn't suspended for at least 6 games. If I'm guessing, I would say half the season(8 games)
