Kelechi Osemele -- Left Tackle

Highlight vid:

What do you guys know about this guy. I like his Combine numbers. He looks good on video (but a lot of people do in highlights). Good size. Good weight.

What's your fair analysis of him? What's the realistic chance we get him at 55? What are the chances he's even there?

He seems like someone the Falcons would bring in. If his negatives are correctable and PH/DK are the answer, then he might be a decent pick.

Will he be there at #55? IDK...possible.

I think CBS sports knocked his work ethic and passion, but he was academic honor-roll 3x and seems durable. Anyone that can make the grades and be

All-Big 12 first team in 2011 has a lot of work ethic and passion IMHO. You can't knock a guy for having balance in his life. I'm interested...he has the

physical attributes, character... can't understand were the mental midget suggestions come into play.

He'd be a good pick. Wouldn't fit a spread offense at LT but would fit a run play action offense at LT so he's limited like Carimi was in that aspect. At the least, we'd have someone that can play a few positions on the line and he has excellent upside.

He might not be the long-term answer at LT, but he is potentially better than anyone at RG and could backup/replace Clabo. You can use him now and he

still has the ceiling to play LT...absolutely.

I don't like him, based off of what I've seen and others tend to agree. I don't think anybody has him listed as a LT. I saw him in the Senior Bowl and he looked terrible matched up against a guy like Coples whom is "not" an elite speed guy. As a left tackle he would always get the other teams best rusher and I don't think he is cut out for it.

Can we draft someone that can help us (better than Svitek/Baker) at LT? If not take K.O. who at least shows 1st rnd potential at RG...BPA.

If we really need a guard, I say look to round 3 or 4. I know Mike Johnson was put on IR last year. I think it was a head injury and then he had a foot injury right after he recovered from the first injury. I don't think he really had a chance to compete last year and I would hate to pick a guard at 55 and then what do you know, Johnson is going to work out, then what.

If we didn't have such needs at DE, LT, TE, CB, S & RB I would be ok with a guard at 55.

I like this kid a lot, I think he would be an excellent pick at 55. He has a lot of potential and could be a good left tackle, if not worse case we get a high caliber guard or right tackle, very versatile player.
