MrJay
i'm talking about the o-line they had last year with nicks, evans, etc. Not saying this is the case but imho Drew Brees gets about all of the credit for the offense when ppl are forgetting he had the best combo of guards in the entire league. Just thinking if matt ryan regressed a little this year because of our o-line, how do u think he would've done with the saints o-line? Swiftee
Matt didnt regress ..He had his best season stats wise. Matt wouldnt fit New Orleans passing scheme cause it stretches defense vertically and that is not Ryan strengths. Just cause he has Saints oline he might have slight bump in passing TDs and yards but not by much ...If you talking scheme . I dont think that scheme fits Ryan strengths -this was SOLID pass protection- Harry beat his coverage-Ryan underthrows his target cause lack of skill set

Swiftee
How do you think Brees would have done with the Falcons o-line?oline only allowed 26 sacks and 171 pressures on season ...avg group talent wise..Not as good as New Orleans but Julio and Roddy and Tony G ...possible Super Bowl...even under Mularkey ...Drew has ability to stretch defense verticallywe would have had a EXPLOSIVE offense
KGrillz
Matt would had a better season stat wise. Our WRs needed to make plays and stop dropping the ball.

Psychic Gibbon
The Saints heavily employ screens which takes considerable pressure off the O-line. Meanwhile, Mularkey avoided them like the plague and you saw defenses just pin their ears back because they never had to respect them, and when he did use them they were horribly designed (like a significant chunk of his plays). Hopefully the addition of Koetter and his use of screens results in a similar situation for us.

On top of that with Mularkey, and the absence of the screen game Brees would have got killed back there. The only thing that would been Explosive would have been Brees's head. Uptownhardhitta!
About the same. Now if he had Sean Payon, he'd probably be pretty good.
madman88
In MM scheme with that line he would have thrown around 4700yds but in a open scheme he could throw for 5000 yds as welll... Just wait till he hhas a line that can let him play to his strengths.. he WILL shut a lot of ryan haters up..

Boogie Man
First thing, he wouldn't look like he's stomping grapes, making wine when he's scanning the field.Secondly he would win a playoff game or three because the OL could gain 36 inches.
