Slick Skillet
I wouldn't mind picking up a young safety in the draft and signing a veteran as well. Who else is out there? Have we re-signed James Sanders yet? I don't trust Shan Shillinger at all.
Aftermath
I'd like to resign both Sanders and Hayden if we have the room.

I like him, I wish he could stay healthy, he really solidfied the nickel. I wouldn't mind keeping him.
muskokas finest ©
As we saw with Hayden and Sanders, that kind of depth is readily available late in training camp. As long as Belichik is coach in Foxboro, you'll see a steady of DB releases.
hjerry
My two favorites right now are Harrison Smith if we go high, and Brandon Hardin if we go low.

Psychic Gibbon
Donovan Richard in the late rounds should solve that.

Draftnut57
Smith is one of my favorite players in the draft. I think he is one of the safest picks. I will be posting my mock in the next couple of days, Right now I have him as our first pick.. Love that player.
kane#7
We don't need to worry about this right now.. Wait till the cuts after the draft to get some solid veteran players.
dboyce10
Smith wont be there by our pick in the 2nd round, chargers will take him in the second at
Rai
If you want a safety that can man up against the new breed of tight ends, the Rob Gronkowskis and the Jimmy Grahams of this world, you'll want George Iloka Boise State. We'll have to take him in the second though. Just bring him on instead of the nickel corner in passing situations. He's aggressive enough to take away the run too. I think the Jets will take him in the second anyway, to counter the Patriots' tight ends. 4.6 speed at 6'4" is pretty rare for a defensive player. You could probably put him out as a corner on those big wide receivers in the redzone, where there's less space for the wide receivers to operate and work with. The Giants employ 3 safeties quite regularly. In fact, them 3 safeties have played over 1000 snaps each. 4-2-5 is their true base D with Rolle coming down closer to the LOS. Iloka could play something similar. He is also fasterthan most other safetys.
Jaymadd
We already have our starters in decoud and Moore so we will see a late round pick or a sanders like FA signing
MattRyan2Canton
we need a honey badger type of player a 30 lbs. monster that can take out lions.
The O.D.B
How about a guy like Antonio Allen? he can play competently at both Safety positions. Any thoughts on him?
