g-dawg
Parcells is not going to do that.....nowhere in the article does it say that parcells is going to take the interim job - or that it even has been formally offered.your title is deceiving. g-dawg
He failed in Dallas so who knows. Its showing as breaking news on ESPN.so you are saying that the TV is reporting it but the article has not caught up to the story?
big_D
He hasn't been a good coach since 1990.True, so why would we fear him? Plus if it's fact and he is hired as interim.......who is he going to coach? The team wont even resemble a team after Goodell finishes with them. UK13
who cares ! He's a control freak so when Breese tells him to shut up about the offense he'll get mad and quit again

paulitik
I encourage it. After what that fish faced f**k did to us to get the Miami gig, I want to effing destroy him. That said, I think this is just Payton reaching out. I doubt it happens. muskokas finest ©
Wouldn't Payton having any role in choosing his successor be a violation of the terms of his suspension?

falconidae
Wouldn't Payton having any role in choosing his successor be a violation of the terms of his suspension?Payton isn't suspended until April 1. Should be able to participate in any team activity until then.
X-Man21
Doesn't mean it's necessarily going to happen though.
Falkonator
Lol all it is, is Peyton asking parcells to take over, way to show a sign of confidence to the OC. Or DC. Namely OC who took over when Peyton was hurt.

falconsd56
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it happen.Every place that parcells touches ends up being a mess after he leaves.
Sun Tzu 7
I would love this.Parcels recent track record speaks for itself.... Miami is still trying to pick up the pieces and how long has it been since Dallas won a playoff game? And then there's the matter of all the assistant coaches.... They're Paytons guys and not Parcells so there would probably be a few changes there and I would imagine Parcells isn't going to be cheap.I still recall one of the best things ever happening to us was Parcells going to Miam.
