egoprime II
by I.Don Matter for FauxSports.com "Your source of false facts and factual rumours".Years ago Morten Anderson made a kick in the NFC Championship game that sealed the OT win for Anderson and the Atlanta Falcons, sending them to the Super Bowl.Turns out it was a million dollar kick. Talk about pressure. In the locker room after the game Anderson was asked why he was so jubilant, he revealed this: Morten's contract called for him to be paid a million dollar bonus if the team reached the Super Bowl. Asked if the Falcons FO at the time thought he would ever collect, Morten said he "doubted it, thats why they let us put it in there."Now thru anonymous NFL sources who make slightly more than minimum wage, it has come to the attention of the office of Faux Sports that John Abraham of the Atlanta Falcons may have a similar bonus clause in his contract. Unlike Anderson, the Falcons do hope Abraham collects his bonus. Why the bonus? According to another source this one with the Falcons, the FO feels that "Abraham loves his cash. Ain't no one gonna stand between Abe and his money. Anyone dogging it on the field, well they won't dare because they know Abe is gonna be there tearin em a new one when they get off the field. They talk about the Saints bounties, well Abe will put a bounty on his own teammates if they look like they will cost Abe his money."Maybe this is what it takes to win a playoff game once in awhile...I.
