President Obama’s budget would pile up an additional $3.5 trillion in debt over the next 10 years. http://p.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/16/cbo-obama-budget-deepens-debt-35-trillion/

Mind you the Democratic Led senate has Not put forth a federal budget in 1100 days. Any wonder why we are screwing our future with that kind of leadership?

I thought the future didn't matter to you, what with your SUVS drinking all your kids and grandkids gas.

Hypocrite.

Omigod! We must stop Obama at all costs! He's destroying America by raising taxes, attacking religion, taking no action to fix the economy, fostering the lie of global warming, being a closet Muslim, associating with radicals, golfing way too frequently, and ending the two wars!

After 4,386 posts (give or take 1,000), I finally see the light and agree that the OP is really and truly the smartest person in the room! No, seriously! He is, he is!

The real problem is that the debt is so huge and the Fed has now (unofficially) begun phase three of Quantitative Easing that two things are inevitable: higher taxes and higher interest rates. The Fed is not going to be able to sustain pumping money into the system to inflate the market. Interest rates will rise and the interest on our debt could be more than the GDP, which means we will never pay off our principal unless the economy takes a tremendous turn (which is also unlikely with higher interest rates).

It has nothing to do with either party, Republican or Democrat.
