Saints Want Lofton

Recommended Posts

They shouldn't have any room left after signing Grubbs.

you guys are missing it......you think because the Falcons only have $5-8million in cap room they cannot make any moves. Falcons can - for whatever reason, they are choosing not to. The money was their if Falcons wanted Mario or Nicks or whomever - probably could have gotten both guys with some work.

Lions were more cap-strapped than Falcons and they just signed Calvin Johnson to 7 yr $132 million contract.

Enough with the "where are they getting the money" stuff........don't assume Falcons are not making moves because of lack of money - simply not true.

Hmm...Blank made his fortune starting Home Depot. Housing market is down, so houses are not being built all that much. Home Depot suffers. if Blank still has his money there in stocks, Blank suffers.

Could the housing crisis be ruining the Falcons chances of signing players? Maybe its a consipiracy on the part of the Feds, eh...? :P

It might be more of a question of ensure we have a big opening for salary in future years.

Lofton joining the Saints is like if Lofton joined the Longhorns after his OU days. What a prick

Most of these guys don't care.

It's all about the Benjamins.

Home Depot just blew out earnings and the stock is up I hope he had his money in stocks with the Dow at 13,200 and making new highs every day he could have landed two Mario's. trust me money isn't the problem.

I wouldnt be surprise... I know he has to be pissed that the market is not becoming what he thought it would (8-9 mil a year) .. MLBs just doesnt have that value any more... He is probably not happy with the falcons also.... We will see what happens.

Like Snelling last year... He sees the market is not what he thought it was....
