RHEC
He should be the starter, who's with me? Edited March 14, 2012 by Skar
FalconofShadows
Im for it. I am not the biggest fan of bringing back Abe due to reasons most will disagree with, and I would also like to see what we have in SId Matthews and possibly a early draft pick
Falkonator
i think he should b given the chance to start, Biermann was given the chance, why not SID?
benny
I'm actually for it as well. Nolan did wonders with Wake, I think he can do the same for Sid
Peyton
Whether people like it or not, this is obviously the year he gets his chance.
RHEC
Sid had 4 sacks last year with lack of playing time, he could be a 10 sack person. It's a risk and he can flop but we don't have much to lose.
Ed Roland
No Way!! This guy was a late round pickup and has rode the bench for what 2-3 yrs... If he was any good they would have played him.... he did little to nothing when he did get in. NO

Snafu
I think this year is going to be about evaluating players already on the roster in our new coaches systems. If you think about it, it's the smart thing to do. How foolish would it be to pay 10 mill a year to a DE when Sid may already be a 10 sack guy in Nolans system. LTand DT are the only positions I can see us going after in FA.

Sid has potential. If you cant see it you are a moron. Edited March 14, 2012 by RubberDucky
iEmbrace_life
If we were to start him, it should've been last season over R.Ed. We can't go into the season with two possible liabilities at DE Edited March 14, 2012 by iEmbrace_life
Ed Roland
Drink more from the punch bowl! Sid is a backup DE on 31 other teams out there, but somehow he has morphed in the off season to a stud DE.... Wow.... good vitamins maybe.

Ed Roland
I'm saying we HAVE GOT TO get a pass rush & Stud Defense to win a playoff game & any chance of a super bowl. Nolan will help a lot, but he needs players who can impact the game for our defense to be feared. IMO Sid has not shown that since arriving here. Not an impact player. Steel City Falcon
Take the same approach as they did with the starting CB spot opposite Robinson 2 years ago. Just throw Sid, Biermann, and Matthews out there and see who stands out lol. That's how Grimes won the job.

Xyfiel
Sometimes we need to take a chance, if it doesn't work out then we will know. That is more or less what I told a woman a few years back, now were married. Sometimes you just got to try something new, it may be the best thing for you in the end.
