Smiler11
Could work, but we'd need to pick up an OLB in either the draft or FA. Manny Lawson or Nigel Bradham at SLB would suffice.I wouldn't be happy with Lofa starting at OLB. I quite like a mix of Dent/Lofa starting at MLB though. Nicholas and Snelling have little to no trade value, Turner is 4th...3rd at best, and 4th rounder next year? For Osi?....a premier pass rusher....would never happen. Osi getting up in age , has a history of knee problems and is a impending free agent ...what you think Osi will fetch a 1st round pick ?They pick up Snelling to replace Jacobs ..They pick up a solid LB that they once were afterand a 4th round pick

niels petersen
I'm not sure they would accept it, as I think they have their eye on a RB in the draft.. Maybe Wilson. They could keep their 4th round pick and buy themselves one more year to find another pass rusher to replace Osi, while he wreaks havoc once again..I don't think they would do it, but I like the way you think.. Ryanless Falcons
So it is acceptable to take a guy that is oft injured and has not wanted to play before because someone likes him? If that happens then we now have to get another back up RB and another OLB and then have to worry about getting another DE in just a few years if it takes that long. You trade away good depth and a starter and a 4th rounder for a guy that is oft hurt. You are seriously delusional if you think that he is going to sign a contract for 4 years 9 million. I don't care what the incentives are. You think that they are really going to put in 20 million in incentives? That contract is less than Biermann's. The more and more you talk the less and less you sound like you know what you are talking about.Edit: You said it all there. Potential. So we trade away 2 players that we know are contributers and possibly one more for a potential? Edited March 12, 2012 by N1985oles!

Osi played in 16 games 3 out of last 4 years im pretty sureIt also has some risk reward but what are we giving up ..We are giving up a OLB yes as depth and a backup rb . We just signed Lofa who has played outside and looks like the plan is to go Dent inside over Lofton ..please bring something else to the argument my friend ..We are not taking a huge risk by either giving up a 2nd round draft or anything of that value ... Ryanless Falcons
Okay so with that being established do you really think that he is going to take less money than CJ, Abe, or Peppers? He has produced the same as them. You just want them to get him so that you can cry about it later. If he is traded to us for what you consider little value to us what does that say that they think about Ny Giants thought on him?
