Wardog357
Man I know everyone is talking about all the what ifs....but I'm really looking forward to see what this kid can do next year....esp if he stays healthy. He is a freaking beast and he makes men look like boys when he gets the ball. I know this is kind of a change of pace thread with all the rumor mill threads going around....but dayum...he could be really special next year! Sorry for spoiling the fun......continue on. GENERALZOD
Thank you!!!!!!! A very refreshing thread about some positive Falcons issue's. Great Post!!!!!!!!I myself can't wait to see what he can do after a year in the NFL. This young man is going to be a superstar, he knows it, but everything I have heard or seen about him he isn't taking it all in and enjoying the moment, instead he is working out and doing everything he can to get better and possibly become the best ever. Best signing the Falcons could have made in last years draft. I don't care what they give up. They got their GO TO GUY so to speak with Julio. Can't wait to see what he does if healthy in 2012. WOW! If the Falcons can get the O-line fixed I don't see them being stopped on offense. That is ofcourse if the new OC has a clue which I think he does based on his philosophy on offense and everything I have heard.I just hope the Falcons get the 0-Line fixed especially at the left side, and I really hope the Falcons sign Mario Williams, and if possible keep John Abraham. Oh well, I guess that's a dream situation isn't it? Well, ya gotta have dreams because otherwise this game wouldn't matter.GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Falconsfan567
The 2nd video didn't embed but look at the throw from Matt Ryan at 1:45. Yet Matt Ryan can't throw the deep ball? And the throw at 2:37. According to Swift Matt Ryan can't make that throw. Yet there's the proof that he can. That was an absolute laser strike. Matt threw it at about the 18 and Julio caught it at about the 43 and it was a perfect throw which allowed Julio to catch it in perfect stride and turn it into a 75-yard touchdown. GENERALZOD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHQpIX__T80Thanks, That saved me some time looking that up! WOW! I'm not no little shrimp so to speak but if I saw Julio Jones running toward me and I was a defensive player I'd be scared! In this video the commentator say's something like "Julio Jones, that's a big man running down field" WOW! He can be an unstoppable player if healthy! Not to mention he's a great roll model also. Those who doubt the move by Thomas D. and don't understand how much it means I feel sorry for them. Signing Julio Jones was probably the best move the Falcons could have ever made. If you watch the video, it looks to me like Julio was being pushed and still made the catch against the Colts on that LONG throw from Matt Ryan. JMO..... Julio is easily won of the 10 fastest players in the NFL. I saw him play a lot at Alabama and knew he was fast but for some reason he looked even faster in the NFL. Like that play against the Jags where 3 defenders had the angle on him and he just split them and got the touchdown. It was insane how it didn't matter that they had the angle on him because he just flatout out ran them.

MattRyansArm
Great video. That throw at 0:30 on the dead run. Now tell me he can't throw the ball.Even I can toss a ball 50+ yards. It just won't have any accuracy, similar to Ryan. Anything he throws deep, the receiver needs to make the play or it looks terribly inaccurate. Noodle arm

Wardog357
Thanks everybody....with all the trade talks and draft talk....I just felt like saying something about a player I REALLY want to see in 2012. Everytime Julio touches the football my arm gets goose bumps because I know he might take it to the house. BTW....my son-n-law bought me his jersey last year. Amd he's a Saints fan.....but he respects talent.

Faithful Falcon
I like Turner, Ovie, and Snelling a lot, but I wish we could do some jumpball plays inside the 10.
kiwifalcon
Has anyone else noticed alot of Ryan's deep throws are off his back foot.I think he doesn't have a cannon for an arm like other NFL QB's but he has more than enough to throw the deep ball when its needed. Sorry I don't have a link, but that's plenty deep enough IMO. That is if he's telling the truth.
