Xx FaLcOhoLiC Xx
I just saw on Adam Schefter's Facebook Free Agent page that the big rumor is that Vincent Jackson and Courtland Finnegan have teamed up and will sign with Tampa Bay together. I hope not, Jackson is a beast!
DirtyBird757
Doesn't surprise me. At least we know that softens their chances of getting Lofton.
Trouble
Not shocking. Bucs where gonna spend some cash this offseason.

Xx FaLcOhoLiC Xx
I dunno they have over 50 mil in cap space I believe? Not counting what they get if the cap gets increased. They could pull a Philly and get all 3 if they wanted.
1989Fan
Finnegan wont stop Julio. VJ I worry about, but Freeman was pretty darn bad this year so....
cnasty
Honestly, I don't see VJax doing so well with Freeman throwing him the ball. Just my opinion, though.

sandiegofalcon
Jackson isn't anything special. Charger fans around here don't even think he's a #1 receiver... an idiot too with his 3 dui's. Goes entire games without an impact.

Jaymadd
The bucs are going to be in the same position this year as they were last year. I was more afraid of the bucs defense than their offense last year until Morris lost his locker room. The bus are the least of my concern tbh
DirtyBird757
Josh Freeman won't be as effective with a football like Phillip Rivers so I am not worried about Jackson.
NOVAFalconFan
Josh Freeman won't be as effective with a football like Phillip Rivers so I am not worried about Jackson.Although I have never seen Josh Freeman throw the ball away on 4th down, either...Rivers started off last year like he and Jamarcus Russell had been hitting Walgreen's together. Carl927
Having the cap space and actually spending it are two different things. At least where the sucs are concerned.
DirtyBird757
That is true but Phillip Rivers had been a pretty consistent qb in years before that while some can argue that Freeman still has some room to grow. Jackson can make him a better qb but Jackson is getting older too. Eventually (sooner than later), he will lose a step.
slamee101
Finnegan is solid but doesn't "worry" me. VJ is a gamer though.
Falcanuck
With Freeman throwing him the ball, I don't worry about Jackson. Besides... Grimes has covered and handled better receivers than Jackson.
Tribal Chief
Well, this isn't really that shocking. Cortland actually said it out of his own mouth yesterday so Schefter is a little behind

Only premiere WR I have ever seen Grimes play good against was Megatron. don't let that one game fool you because he did not completely shut him down by himself in that game. Jackson is capable of being a top 5 WR stat wise in the NFL but he has been on a team that didn't have to really on only 1 player to have success on offense

Dr_truth189
Guys I can't say who, but an inside source has told me Curtis Loften's agent has been playing hardball claiming that the Bucs will offer something big. The Falcons at this point are going to call the bluff. I don't have any sort of details, but I can tell you we have offered Curtis a deal and there is a stalemate. The Martyr
I wonder if Julio is a harder puncher than Andre Johnson

I hope he doesn't think he's a Vilma, Lewis or Willis

Had to expect they'd improve with how bad they were down the stretch.
