Danishfalcon
Per Schefter Former Seahawks Pro Bowl linebacker Lofa Tatupu worked out today for the Falcons.https://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefterI wonder if this is further proof that we will move on from Lofton, or just to pressure him and his agents. slamee101
Could be gamesmanship by TD, could just covering their bases like they're supposed to.Either way, not a good sign for Lofton. I doubt Tatupu would be a great replacement but I know TD realizes he can't take Dent, who rarely saw the field last year, and throw him in as the starter at MLB. slamee101
Lofton did not start MLB day one when we drafted him?Maybe I'm confusing the fact that Brooking was responsible for being the "QB" of the D, all the same though...I don't think Dent is ready (and I say that as a UGA homer. Falcon Fantom
Thanks dudes, I thought so. I think with a veteran LB, Dent would be okay. Not Lofton, but ok. Plus if we get Williams, we probably will not see a drop in our run defense.
Falkonator
If healthy I take a shot on lofa, if we let loftob walk, lofa is actually a playmaking MLB with good coverage skills.
Butudontseeme™
Just the "due diligence" of "the process". Tatupu was a beast at one time though.

falcon057
we may need two lb's / lofton and pete replacement
falconsd56
He would not be a bad signing if healthy. He started as a rookie at MLB and became the "qb " of the defense. That does not happen often so he is smart enough for it.He is a nice insurance policy in case Lofton bolts
Falcon Fantom
we may need two lb's / lofton and pete replacementWhat about Adkins? I am tired of hearing about his blazing speed and him not seeing the field. Maybe Nolan came bring something out of him.
