primetime
Firstly - would love to see Curtis resigned - however i really feel the mario bandwagon starting to role and I cant see both fitting in.If we did lose Curtis - how about Bradie James (from Dallas). He was once the poster boy for that team and was a beast against the run until the team realised that he was a liability in coverage (sound familiar). Unlike Curtis however he has basically been a backup the last couple of years and thus would be happy (im guessing) to take a shot at being a starter again (at least for 2 out of 3 downs). Thirds down would most likely mean the extra db and moving spoon into the MLB spot but with either Dent or Bradie in the team this is gonna happen anywayI would think we could get him for a lot less than curtis =probably saving the team 3-4 million without suffering a huge drop-off in run supportany takers???????????? Butudontseeme™
If we lose Lofton, I think the team will bring in a veteran to compete with Dent for the role. Maybe that's James, maybe it's Crowder, or maybe somebody else. It will be somebody cheap though, because I don't see us spending much to replace a guy that we seem to be avoiding paying right now. J/k. Are you lobbying to get London Fletcher booted out of the NFC East?

Are you lobbying to get London Fletcher booted out of the NFC East?haha na I started coming on here for the playoff games and enjoyed hte football talk I was having. Its good to take a break from your boards(i am currently dealing with: SIGN PEYTON AS A BACKUP threads there)London Fletcher DOES NOT PLAY like he is 37. I would be happy to get his *** out of the NFC east. But was just saying, as good as a LBer Lofton is and hes **** fine, you guys would still have a legit LB core. Upgrading Lofton and Abraham 4 Mario Williams will be a big upgrade for you. I know it sounds like alot, but you can always just sign a LBer. In a 4-3 the DLine is the most important thing

I would love to have Fletcher in ATL. Like you said, "as a bandaid." The "Sign Petyon as a Backup" threads are downright ridiculous aren't they? There is no way Peyton will be a backup anywhere! Personally, I would love to have MW too, but I think it would cost the franchise to get him. It could be done but we will have to sacrifice a lot of other components at the same time. You guys would have to let Lofton and Abraham go and your already saving money becuase you don't have a first round pick. You guys could go a million different cheap ways to fill MLB as well. I think its a no brainer. He will INSTANTLY make everybody better
