TjToocool
It's not the playoff wins (or rather the lack of). It's that EVERY season, we have to hear how he will bring the Falcons success, but where is it?

TjToocool
No way i would take Sancheezy over Matt Ryan. Sanchez had great defenses, great offensive line, and an above average running game in those games. If Ryan had that we would've gotten way farther. But Ryan has a few good WR's, a good RB, and a HOF TE.

HEIST
I think you mean AFC, Undefendable.Mark Sanchez turns it on playoff time. He really deserves more credit than he gets for the wins in the playoffs. Of course, his defense and run game had a lot to do with it. Of course, his defense and run game had a lot to do with it.You are right in that he plays well in the playoffs but without that defense and running game he would even have the chance to turn it on in the playoffs. Is regular season numbers are pretty bad.782 of 1414 [55.3%], 9,209 YDS, 6.5 AVG, 55 TD, 51 INT - 73.2 Rating. If Matt Ryan had played like that the Falcons would have 4 straight losing seasons. Sleepy27
Seriously?Yes Seriously,Sanchez has more experience in big game situations then Ryan ranging from his College career to his pro career. Sanchez has only been in the league 3 years and been to the AFC championship twice. Ryan hasn't won a playoff game yet.And plus I feel If you get Sanchez in a less toxic group (cause let's be reality the Jet's orginazation comes off as pretty immature) I feel he could turn into a pretty good Qb. And if you're willing to call Sanchez garbage after 3 years, what's Ryan?
mastershake
I don't get how it's Ryans fault that we haven't won a playoff game since he's been our starter and when did playoff wins become the determining factor off a good QB? Maybe he didn't win those playoff games but he didn't lose them for us either. If you take a closer look at each season individually you would find that some other really good QBs lost to the same teams that we did. Matter of fact I didn't even see him show up to the last 2 playoff games, my bad Matt Ryan is NOT at fault at all for the playoff losses,The Student has now become the teacher. mastershake
Not saying hes not at fault, just seems that all the blame seems to fall on his shoulders. You guys make it seem like if a QB doesn't win a playoff game in his first 4 years, then he sucks. You don't think if our D ever stopped someone on third down, that the playoff record might be different? And it's funny how you bring up a dropped pass to make a point on Flacco and yet we led the league in drops. Lets see how he does this year with hopefully some creative play calling and a D that will stop playing not to lose instead of trying to win. If giving the winningest QB in his first 4 years in the league the benefit of the doubt and not blaming him for every loss makes me a hugger, then you guy pinning it all on him makes you haters. Matt Ryan is held to a much higher standard then any other QB to ever play in the NFL. Ryan is suppose to break every passing record known to man and win the Super Bowl every year. Anything less is considered a total failure!

Anything less is considered a total failure! and I'm a hugger cause I dont give up on the best QB this franchise has ever had after losing to teams that went to the SB. And it's not just the trolls on this board that hold him to that standard either, it's the heads on ESPN and NFLN too. He'll win a playoff game soon and a SB after that and then there will be nothing else to blame him for, but I'm sure they will try.

muskokas finest ©
-Elite and all-time great QBs like Brady, Peyton Manning-Dominant, record-breaking stars like Brees, Rodgers, Stafford and Rivers-Proven Super Bowl winners like Roethlisberger, Eli Manning-Young guns on the rise like Newton, Freeman and Bradford-Future stars like Andrew Luck and RG3This is the era of the QB in pro football. Fans of this team are seriously deluded if they think Matt Ryan can rise above the talent listed here. Just for a change, try to be objective. Don't think of Matt Ryan, whom you've fallen in love with. Think of Mark Sanchez, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Jay Cutler, Tony Romo. How hard will it be for one of them to lead a team to Super Bowl victory given the level of competition? 4 of the 5 listed, have a markedly stronger throwing arm than Matt Ryan(Schaub is at worst an equal)Don't label stark reality as "Ryan Hating" Empathize a little. Magic Man
Well then So is Sanchez.... take it easy holmes. My problem is, it had to take his team to start calling him out as lazy and complacent and Rex to let the backup start taking snaps with the First team in practice to wake him up. Those things are NEVER talked about with Matt Ryan. You can have the complacent, lazy guy who has played the game with a sense of entitlement. I'll take Ryan. Hashbrown3
Proof that playoff wins aren't everything either. Jets might cut Sanchez. Ryan is about to get a big extension. Its clear Sanchez sucked wind from the onset... But of course the NY media had to prop him up continually. Why is it that no one can speak the truth anymore in this country. Every time there is a QB available now, he will get linked to the Jets... Why, cuz regardless of what everyone says, sanchez body of work says the opposite... I like to do that with obummer too. dont listen to what he says, just watch what he does... Ok, no room for politics here, but just illustrating a similar mindset... Now I certainly cannot proclaim to be a prognosticator because I had no earthly idea that Cam Newton would have lit it up the way he did... That was unreal. Now that guy is a stud... He definitely backed up the hype on the field and i respect that!
