FalconsSavant
Clayton gives Seattle a 55% chance of landing Super Mario. I really hope he is wrong and Super Mario realizes he has a better chance of going to the super bowl with the Falcons!!!!http://mynorthwest.com/?nid=577&a=39763&p=21&n=Cold%20Hard%20Facts
slamee101
Not that I think he'll be a Falcon, but keep in mind Clayton is based out of Seattle. (he's actually only been in Bristol a handful of times). He might have a subconscious lean towards the Seahawks. If offered equal $ I tend to think Williams would pick Atlanta if the choice came down to those two cities.
Xx FaLcOhoLiC Xx
If Mario were smart and cared about Football more than money, he'd pick Atlanta. Why go to bottom rung team like the Seahawks with no QB or Recievers and no names on D? Dumb move on his part if he does.
falconfanEST1989
Atlanta is closer to his homestate of nc. maybe that factors in a little his family could come see more games!!!
Xx FaLcOhoLiC Xx
I just hope a team don't come outta nowhere and scoop him up like the Eagles did Nnamdi last year.
atljbo
I think they are the leaders right now because the Seahawks are basically willing to pay him whatever he wants.... On ESPN John CLayton named the Falcons as the other team
falconfanEST1989
Not being biased buti think think franchise is a better option for him to get a ring. Plus better competition for him to play against. that could be a big factor with hoim signing with atl i hope he signs he is one of my favorite players in the NFL

rcky_mtn_falcon
We might end up in the same situation as we did with Abraham. If Mario wants to be close to home. He grew up in North Carolina. Seattle is about as far from home as you can get, and as we all know Georgia is right next door.

Farmer2
I'm pretty sure fans of all the other 31 teams could make a pretty good argument as to why their team is the best choice for Mario. FA seriously can't get here quick enough.

Heard Mario is into hunting and fishing ..so who knows

1989Fan
there will be enough teams bidding for his services, that no team shold be expected to have a 55% chance of getting him. Where the heck do you come up with that number anyways? not 50%....55%, WTF?And who would want to live in Seattle if they had other options anyways? It wouldnt surprise me one bit if he ended up on a different team all together. Sure the Bears have Peppers, but they also have a TON of money to spend. Imagine that duo! The Giants have proven 2x that it is worth investing in the D line! Now I doubt it is the Bears, but realistically you have to think there are 32 teams that would be better @ DE with Mario Williams on their roster. I might be wrong about this, maybe somebody has an answer to this question. I thought there was a thread a while back that I read where Mario was being interviewed and he had stated that money will not be the main factor in the team he chooses to play for. Anybody else remember hearing this? I could be wrong about that.

Yes thats correct about that statement I saw the same article.Jason LaCanfora has reported he thinks MW will settle for about 13 mill per season but I mean there are some teams in FA that can afford to throw mega $$$$$ at him.The only decision he needs to make is if he wants to go to a contender or take the mega deal and hopefully drag one of the lesser teams up into the play-off type levels.
