As Much As I Love This Is Happening To The Saints...

...It's been happening for decades from the high school level on up.

Seriously. I remember getting stickers for how much paint from the other teams helmet was on my helmet!!!

Sucks for the Saints and their fans that they are the ones that were stupid enough to leave a paper trail.

All teams were warned in Goodells memo, but the Saints were warned after investigators were already suspicious...

Now thats just plain STUPID.

Doesn't help that Vilma offered up $10k to the player that takes Favre out of the game. That's what took it beyond the normal pool that rewards for interceptions, sacks, hard hits and forced fumbles, and turned it into the Bounty Program.

I would love to be a fly on the wall to see your face around November/December next year. You mus'nt forget, punish us and we're still better than your best.

If you could be a fly on a wall, you'd waste it with spying on FM? Screw that, I'd be all over the walls of Kate Upton's house.

I'm a homer? I believe my team will beat out two sub 500 teams last year and a team whom we put up a 40 burger on and can't score but two points in the playoffs? No, I'm not a homer. I just follow logic.

You think a little time out in the corner is going to slow us down?

I think there is a difference between stickers on helmets, and pizza parties, and the institutional circumventing of CBA agreements such as rewarding players, outside of a salary cap. Players who are already paid handsomely to give it all on the field to injure and possibly end the career of those they share a union with. All of this in defiance to the NFL after receiving a warning about said behavior. The Saints were given a free pass they didn't deserve, and thumbed their nose at the NFL. And that doesn't even touch the ticket fraud and illegal trafficking of prescription painkillers for the recreational use of the coaching staff.

The media has done a disservice to the public making it seem that this issue is only about Goodell wanting to soften the league. It's about a corrupt organization whose tactics endanger the NFL financially in the midst of a flurry of lawsuits over dozens of former NFL players with degenerative symptoms caused by repeated head trauma from years of playing NFL football.

The NFL let "America's sweethearts" get away with controversy after controversy, and the Saints did nothing but lie to their face and defy their orders. The Saints will pay.
