The Saints Are Dirty Cheaters?! Surely Not!

Yeah they suck. Saints fans are trying to say "We played within the confines of the rules, so it doesn't matter. Our superbowl win was legit"

Well actually, you're going out trying to injure star players. There's a difference between playing good hard defense and attacking a player relentlessly until they can't go on.

I agree, hurting players is wrong. But to say the superbowl win was not ligit is just plain stupid!

It wasn't legit. And it has nothing to do with trying to harm players.

You Taint fans (and players for that matter) are too stupid to see the real issue.

The reason the SB isn't legit is because your players were getting bonuses for performance (your coaches are even calling it that) and these bonuses are in direct violation of the salary cap. Can't pay players extra money and not have it count against the cap.

And before you try to act like it was funded by players - there is evidence that outside sources were also contributing the the bounties.

May I ask why you feel the need to bash a culture? It is one thing to say stuff about a football team, it is another to actually say something that ignorant about a group of people who faced unimaginable hardships yet still were able to maintain their culture. I would love to explain to you about my Cajun heritage, unfortunately wouldn't do any good since you have obviously already formed a very nasty opinion bc you are uneducated about the Cajun people. Seriously do some research, it might really interest you to learn about a great group of people who make up this wonderful country that we are both from, so please my fellow American educated yourself before you render such a nasty, distasteful and prejudice remark.

Now, back to the topic, I understand about the salary cap and believe it or not I get what you are saying. My point is that bounty happens in every team we just happened to get caught. Yes we should receive penalties for bad behavior, however so should everyone else. Also, football is an aggressive, contact sport where injuries happen. How can you definitively say that a tackle was too hard, I mean come on it's football. The players know the risk going in and the fans want to see good old football. Let us not sissify the game by saying you can't hit hard come on! You know as well as I do that it happens in every team. I am over the pettiness of arguing back and forth it was fun for a while now it is just getting cruel. I truly hope you do research Cajun history and culture it is very interesting.

I agree, saying it wasn't ligit is stupid. But saying it wasn't legit is smart.

I'm not surprised though, Aints are dirty all around...glad the league might be cracking down on it. And also, since you're calling it "bashing a culture" (doesn't make a lot of sense, but let's roll with it), how about you address your fellow Saints fan calling all Falcons fans stupid?

The reason I said he attacked a culture is bc under the statement it says"' Cajun, it's French and redneck merging, a hygiene combination no antiperspirant can tackle'"

Now go ahead and laugh bc I am sure you will find it amusing. Oh and the reason it has three quotation marks is bc it is a quote within a quote which I feel the need to explain to you before you make another dumb comment about my posts. Congrats on being the first person to see that I misspelled legit, which I did purposely, thinking someone would make a comment about me saying "ligit" and stupid in the same sentence. It wasn't an easy thing to do either bc autocorrect kept spelling it correctly. I thought somebody would post something mean about it and I would make a comment back. It is as simple as that, but obviously you felt a great need to post what you did, so good job! Congratulations I have managed to waist 10 minutes of your time just like the Falcons

waist everybody's time when they play on Sundays. Well Mondays too if they are playing Saints; that's the only way the Falcons get to play Monday night football! I better let you go, I am sure you want to go watch "Finding Bigfoot" since you are into mythological things like unicorns and Falcons Superbowl Rings!

It is one thing to play good tough football. But we are talking about someone's ability to take care of themselves and their families. I am a die hard football fan, pro, college and high school but at the end of the game, I would like to see my favorite players walk off the field to come back another week. You can play good hard football and not end someone's career. And to try to justify it with "well we don't want to sissify the league" a bit disenginuine.

The NFL is being sued from EVERY direction concerning concussions and this in no way helps the matter. If anything it gives those litigants credibility about what they have been saying all along.

This reeks on so many levels! Wonder how many of their own players got hurt trying to hurt someone else.

And enjoy your Super Championship, EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE! And I have a feeling the Saints are about to find that out!

Are bounties dirty? Yes.

Is widespread across the league? Yes. No.

Are falcon fans stupid? **** yes.

Fixed. ...Some Falcons fans are stupid, so I'm not changing that. But at least they aren't fans of dirty ******* cheaters. Bounties for interceptions and turnovers are one thing, but it is not widespread to be getting paid to have opposing players leave on carts.

The only person in recent memory to get hurt so badly by a Saints player that they had to get carted off the field was Sean Payton. Listen, for the last time, I do not think bounties are ok; hurting a player on purpose is wrong. However, these athletes know the risks and accept them so that they can get paid the insane amount of money they get paid to play. My point is that it is not done by just the Saints. Y'all can call me delusional and every other negative name you want, but the Saints won the Superbowl bc they were the best team in the league that year. End of story. The year the the Saints won the Superbowl they lead the league in scoring and offense, and the only players making bounties were the defensive players. We won with offense not defense.
