Summery (what i heard)

1. He thinks we are just a couple of pieces on the O-Line and D-Line away from making a big push.

2. All the guys was pissed after the playoff lost... Tony was ultra pissed

3. (Gave a big Roddy white laugh) He didnt dance but he smiled when he heard Mularkey was gone (LOL)

4. With Dirk Koetter the vertical and No Huddle will be seen more.

5. He liked that we franchised Grimes... Grimes is our best CB

6. He promise he wont lead the league in drops this year... He was a little frustrated that he wasn't getting the ball as much at the beginning of the year...That got him a little off

7. Matt Ryan has the arm strength... Ryan deep balls in practice are on point..The timing was off this year...The Coaches also told him he may get open down the field but its more to that play (basically if Ryan has pressure in his face he cant get it down the field) . The deep ball will be better next year.. Matt will come in a little bigger.

8. Julio Jones will be special

9. In the Playoff game it was alot of little things that got us.. No converting 3rd and 2 and 3rd and 3... Also those 4th down plays... We was able to get pass the 50 but the offense would just stall on those short plays.

10. He doesnt think the Giants are better then us.. He just thinks they had the upper hand in key matchups (Their D-Line)

Lol but I was called a joke for thinking Roddy hated MM and that his drops were because he was upset with the offense. Now you got it from the horses mouth FFS70, what you got to say? It was about as obvious as the sun at high noon. I bet Roddy is back to 2010 Roddy this year because he knows the playbook will be open for business again.

Roddy gives it to you straight, no chaser. I love that guy.

On another note, me, you, and other knowledgeable fans knew Mularkey was the problem. Why did it take so long for our front office to figure this out? Seriously, I think i could run this organization better than Dimitroff. Mularkey and Van Gorder never would have been hired. Mike Zimmer and Hue Jackson would hae been my coordinators.

Like Roddy said, fix the oline and dline and we will be fine.

I guess the players were ready for mularkey to go as much as the fans were. I think Julio is going to be a beast next year, he and Ryan will have a complete offseason to gel

You can tell the Offense was ready for Mularkey to walk.... From the players comments in Yahoo to just listening to Roddy on here.... No one wanted to down Mularkey but they was happy to get a new OC

They were ready since Wk 1 if you want to keep it real. But honestly, I could tell they chalked it up after the Packers game. 14-0 lead with brand new plays and obvious input from the players or at least Ryan. Followed that with a classic scoreless 2nd half and a loss. No excuse for that.

It's obvious the players did not communicate well with Mularkey. Hopefully Koetter is better... But how can you NOT be better than Mularkey?

And that's what frustrated me to no end this past season. We showed that we could score with the right play calling. I couldn't understand why we didn't use that type of approach for a whole game...keep your foot on their necks and don't let off till the clock shows 00:00

Let me get this straight. You are saying Roddy was dropping passes for some other reason than

that he was out there dropping passes? It was all because of the mean old man MM in the press box.

I don't buy that but if it were true, I think that is a bigger problem than dropping a few passes. That is

mentally checking out on your team at the same level as D. Hall did to us with his stupid penalties.

Yes, I was saying Roddy was dropping the ball because he was frustrated with what was going on with the offense. Those words even came out the man's mouth himself.

Like I repeatedly said, no matter how good you are or how much you are paid, if you aren't happy in your situation, then you aren't going to perform to your max potential. Roddy was happy in 2008-2010. He killed every one he faced as a result. In 2011, he had high hopes for the offense. His hopes weren't realized due to obvious poor playcalling and lack of aptitude from his OC. As a result he was unhappy. Not rocket science. Call me a liar or just read/hear what Roddy said himself for the drops.

it amazed me how people try to act dumb when it comes to sports. heck in the real world let me have a bad day and my performance is off. somedays I just have to step outside and gather myself before I totally wreck something I've been doing for years. why wouldn't frustration cause a player to slip in performance a little?? it's really not that hard to understand

I think this year is set up perfectly in my eyes.

SB hosted by long time rival.

Long time rival is also having trouble within the organization. HUGE PROBLEMS OCCURRING.

New OC that the players like so far.

Tony G's last season.

Not to mention we always seem to shock the NFL after mediocre seasons. 2007(bad)-2008(great). 2009(mediocre)-2010(greater).

2011(mediocre)-2012(???????!!!!!!)?

I am very excited for this season and the arrival of the Matt Ryan that we all want.

Roddy White had his best seasons under Mularkey ..Not sure why he would be happy ..Its probably all downhill from here in regards of stats for him ..Julio will go up and his will go down ..Roddy White was a perfect wr for Mularkey pass patterns cause they fit his skill set to a tee .

been hearing this every year Matt Ryan will improve on deep ball

basterds_joy.gif

I think he finally will produce results this year because he will have more than just 1 random 9 route down the sideline to throw a game. The problem, in my opinion, was not his ability, but the situation he was throwing deep balls. When you throw the ball 10 yards 20 times and hand it off another 20 times, that 1 time a game he had to throw deep, he isn't ready or in a groove to throw it. Look at Brady, same happened to him this year. Brees, on the other hand, threw maybe 5 deep ones a game and he had 2-3 deep routes to pick from, stressing the safeties.

I'm not saying he is going to be otherworldly. But he won't be bottom 5 anymore. Sig bet?
