tobyd77
This is a Nolan inspired move and I think that Nolan wants to see what he can do with Robinson and Grimes on the same field.
Guest Fibonacci
I think this board is going to end up crashing in about ten minutes.

Plus Im sure any new coordinator would be a little worried coming into their first season without the teams best DB ya know? Hopefully we can get him signed to a long term deal this upcoming season. falconidae
Bet that they sign him long term soon.
Hashbrown3
$10M is a lot but I wanted Brent on the team. He is undeniably a top tier corner especially when considering our anemic pass rush...
paulitik
I guess we can now squash the rumor that he sat out of the playoff game. Welcome back Grimey.

atlGM
Smart move. Buys us some time to see if he fully returns from his knee injury before we extend him any longer. I believe he will be fine tho and by his fourth int we will be living him down for the next 4-5 years.
Theyhateme : )
He has shutdown some of the NFLs best WRs during his tenure here. I'm good with this!

Grrrillapmpn Inc.®
Shocked I was able to post this. Glad I got to see why the board is going to crash before it actually does.

jfalconsp
Great news, we need as many good CBs as possible. Hopefully we can get a long term deal worked out to help a little with the cap as 10 million is high, I have faith TD will get it done.In other shocking news, the board is currently still functional! Crazy stuff.

Steel City Falcon
Smart move. Place the tag on him for a year just to see if he comes back from the knee injury. If he does they can extend him and if not he comes off the books next year.

Aftermath
This could be a good move, or it could completely blow up in our faces. only time will tell.
Trouble
We knew it was coming for a min. It was said Grimes would never hit the market. Only way we could do that is to tag him or have a deal. Id imagine grimes camp wants to see what the next 2 rated CB`s get this off season before committing to a new deal.
